NYC energy meets intentional living. 🏙️✨ I’m Dja, a UGC creator based in the heart of New York, and I’m all about that sweet spot where high-end tech meets a cozy, plant-based lifestyle. As a creator with a background in the tech industry, I focus on the details—moving beyond just "showing" a product to weaving it into a real, aesthetic story. Whether I’m testing out the latest gadgets, sharing a vegan cooking hack, or getting lost in a duet-narration audiobook, my mission is to keep it authentic and visually striking. I’m here to bring a fresh, diverse voice to the brands that are shaping our daily lives. Let’s turn your brand’s vision into scroll-stopping content. 🎥💙 #blackcreator #blackcreators #ugcforbrands #ugccontentcreator #lifestylecreator #veganlifestyle #plantbasedliving #techcreator #contentcreator2026 #ugc2026 #authenticcontent #scrollstoppingcontent #brandcollabs #diversecreators #nyccontentcreator #ugccommunity #contentcreatortips #creatorsofinstagram #smallcreator #ugcportfolio by @djahorryugc
Day 11 of 30. This prompt was supposed to be a past partnership spotlight, which presented one tiny problem: I haven’t had my first paid brand partnership yet. 😂 And I’m definitely not making one up for the plot. So instead, I looked at the work I do have. This TORRAS neck fan concept helped me realize that the kind of creator I want to be isn’t just someone who shows what a product does. I want to think about who needs it, what problem they’re having, and how I can make that problem feel recognizable without losing my personality in the process. That’s the part I really enjoy. Finding the human thing inside the product. The paid partnerships will come. For now, I’m paying attention to the kind of creative partner I want to be when they do. 💙 When branded content actually sticks with you, what usually does it: the product, the story, or the personality behind it? #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #UGCPortfolio #SpecContent #ContentCreator by @djahorryugc
Day 10 of 30. I’m realizing that I don’t want building a personal brand to mean editing myself down until I’m easier to explain. I like a lot of things. I’m interested in a lot of things. I have opinions, stories, random rabbit holes, hobbies, creator goals, fandoms, tech I will absolutely talk your ear off about, and probably several plotlines I haven’t introduced yet. 😂 And I’m okay with that. Clarity matters. But I think there’s a difference between being clear about who you are and making yourself smaller so you fit neatly into one category. The through-line doesn’t have to be one topic. Sometimes the through-line is the person experiencing all of it. So yes, there will be side quests. Welcome to the show. 💙 What’s one part of yourself you refuse to shrink just to make yourself easier to categorize? #ShowUpSeptember #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney #PersonalBrand #UGCCreator by @djahorryugc
Day 9 of 30. For a long time, I think I treated “success” like it had to look a certain way. Now I’m realizing I want something a little different. I want breathing room. I want options. I want the freedom to take my work with me, explore the things I love, change my mind, grow, and build a life that actually has space for all the different parts of me. And maybe the biggest shift is realizing that I don’t necessarily have to become somebody else to get there. Maybe being fully myself is part of the opportunity. That possibility feels really exciting to me. What does having more freedom in your life look like to you? #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney #PersonalBrand by @djahorryugc
Day 8 of 30. Apparently one of the risks of getting attached to fictional characters is having friends who make you relive the trauma. 😂 I have been watching Outlander for a long time, so when a character I’ve seen grow from a kid into a man with a family dies, yes, I am going to have feelings about it. What I was not prepared for was having to rewind the scene because my friend’s brain apparently needed a second viewing to fully process what had just happened. Ma’am. Once was enough. 😭 I think this is one of my favorite things about a really good story though. You spend enough time with these characters and somewhere along the way, you actually start caring what happens to them. Which fictional character death are you still salty about? #ShowUpSeptember #Outlander #TVTalk #Fandom #ContentCreator by @djahorryugc
Day 7 of 30. One thing nobody warned me about is how easy it is to plan for the creator you think you should already be instead of the creator you actually are right now. I kept looking at editing like, “Okay, I’ll film this, then I’ll just edit it.” Just edit it. Girl. Apparently that little word was carrying several hours on its back. 😂 The funny part is, I don’t even dislike editing. I actually really enjoy learning it. I just had to stop pretending learning something new was supposed to happen at expert speed. So now I’m getting better at budgeting for where my skills are today, while trusting that the speed will come with the reps. What’s something you completely underestimated when you first started learning it? #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney #VideoEditing by @djahorryugc
Day 6 of 30. I thought “Kind Words” was going to be a cute little post about nice things people have said to me. Apparently we were doing emotional character development instead. 😂 The funny thing about showing up more is that people start reflecting things back to you that you don’t always notice while you’re busy just trying to do the thing. Hearing that I’ve motivated someone, helped them notice a win, inspired them to show up, or that something about my voice or perspective stays with them? Yeah. That got me a little bit. Maybe visibility isn’t only about letting people see you. Sometimes it gives you a chance to see yourself a little differently too. 💙 What’s something someone has said about you that stuck with you? #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney #CreativeCommunity by @djahorryugc
Day 5 of 30. Apparently filming a Day in My Life requires me to remember to actually film my life. Who knew. 😂 Today ended up being a little bit of everything: getting ready, running around New York with Mom, a matcha mission, pretty city moments, and then coming back home to pajamas, snacks, and decompressing. Nothing wildly glamorous. Just a regular Saturday that felt good to actually notice. I think I’m learning that not every piece of content needs a big lesson attached to it. Sometimes the story is just: this was my day, and I liked it. What’s one little thing from your day you’d actually want to remember? #ShowUpSeptember #DayInMyLife #UGCCreator #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney by @djahorryugc
Day 4 of 30. Me: “I want people to know what I can do.” Also me: keeps half the evidence in my camera roll Apparently that is not how visibility works. Annoying. 😂 Anyway, we’re posting the work now. Rude, but fair. What are you sitting on that probably needs to see the light of day? #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney #BlackCreators by @djahorryugc
Day 3 of 30. 💙 Today’s post is about my creator non-negotiables. I’m pretty flexible on a lot of things, but one thing I’m not doing is lying for a check. If I say I love something, I want to mean it. If I recommend something, I want people to trust that it’s real. And if a brand and I work together, I want it to feel like a partnership, with mutual respect, trust, and a win-win for both sides. I’m not giving up honesty just because money is involved. What’s one non-negotiable for you? #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney #BlackCreators by @djahorryugc
Day 2/30. 🎬💙 Yesterday’s “simple” talking-head video had a little more going on behind the scenes than you would know from watching the finished post. 😂 Three takes. One tiny piece stolen from Take 2. Cutting. Checking. Caption drama. Audio cleanup. Music hunting. And approximately 700 teeny decisions later... Girl, post the thing. 😭 I’m learning that creating the content is only part of it. Sometimes the real challenge is figuring out when something is good enough to stop tweaking and actually let people see it. And considering I’m someone who can absolutely overthink the teeny details, we’re working on that one post at a time. 😂 2/30. Still showing up. ✨ Creators, tell me: what part of making content always takes longer than you think it will? #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #BehindTheScenes #ContentCreator #CreatorJourney by @djahorryugc
Day 1 of 30. 💙 It’s officially September 1st, which means I’m kicking off the Show Up September challenge and committing to showing up on Instagram every day this month. And for Day 1, we’re starting at the beginning: the moment UGC stopped feeling like something I was thinking about doing and started feeling real. Over the next 30 days, you’ll probably see a little bit of everything creator life, behind the scenes, things I’m learning, things I love, some experimenting, some storytelling, and a whole lot more of me actually letting myself be seen instead of keeping everything tucked away in my camera roll and CapCut. 😅 So… here we go. 1/30. I showed up. ✨ Follow along and let’s see what the next 29 days turn into. #ShowUpSeptember #UGCCreator #ContentCreator #PersonalBrand #BlackCreators by @djahorryugc
