June has arrived, and opening our June program strong this Friday we have Lil Lawaw and DJ boats taking to the booth.

Lil Lawaw
Lil Lawaw is the driving force behind the Cape St. Francis record label and club night as well as the Phono Lake venue and Phono Club nights. Lil Lawaw’s DJ sets weave deep house, techno, broken-beat, and electro, often enriched with the soulful energy of R&B and hip-hop through vocal cuts, samples, and production techniques. His sound feels both timeless and forward-thinking, creating moments that resonate with and move bodies on the dancefloor.

DJ Boats
Spending his time either behind the wheel of his literal ship on the Schelde or behind the metaphorical wheels of steel, DJ Boats is known as one of Antwerp’s secret weapons. Having honed his craft in the underground throughout the years, he is now a welcome addition to any line-up focused on providing quality music for the dancefloor. As part of the Vice City crew he has played internationally renowned festivals such as Dimensions, Klub Dramatik and more.
