Building a world doesn’t happen overnight. More is coming soon. #apothecaryart, #FromVillaintoHero, #RedemptionArc, #OCArt, #DigitalIllustration, #MagicalGirl, #originalart by @dmg_nosek
I painted this in Procreate back in January and never posted it. I kept wanting to do more with it and it wasn’t until a week ago that I decided to animate it. I took it into After Effects with the intention of just doing a simple slide animation for Winnie going up to Jackson on the balcony. However, that quickly turned into me diving in to re-learn the program. What started as puppet warping a PNG turned into vectorizing the artwork and animating vector points. I ended up doing way more than I planned on with this and feel like I could continue for ages. But I have other projects I have burning in the back of my brain. Which do you prefer? The still rendering or the animated scene? by @dmg_nosek
Working at the Artlink Prism Gallery at the Biltmore Fashion Park. The exhibition is only going on for a few more days so if you want to see some of Arizona’s best artists AND try some amazing Arizona wines, today is the day to come by! #artlink #azwinegrowers #biltmorefashionpark #phoenixart #gallery by @dmg_nosek

Winnie and Jigsaw are discussing potential plots and possible schemes inside the coffin they call home. #fantasyart #ravenart #ocartist #witchlife by @dmg_nosek
My wife has slowly been growing an PlayStation Network group of friends since she discovered gaming last year. It started with Baldur’s Gate 3 and has evolved into Ghost of Tsushima Legends ass-kicking sessions. “Butterfly” as she is known in historic Japan as she battles against Oni with a ragtag group of samurai, ronin, and assassins needed an avatar. At least, I thought so. So I came up with a design for Butterfly, using moth and butterfly inspiration for her hair and outfits. Her outfit is not meant to be accurate to Japan or the world of Ghost of Tsushima. It’s just what I felt was pretty to dress her in. #ghostoftsushimalegends #ocartworks #fantasyartwork by @dmg_nosek
Winnie making a delivery to Jackson. She doesn’t use front doors for your privacy and she won’t come inside for her safety. If you have any deliveries you need to make across the city that the normal post will not take, you can find her at the Night Market most evenings. #comicbookart #witchlife #deliveryservice Also — no A.I. used in the making of this piece. Made in procreate. by @dmg_nosek
Not everyone has the luxury of gardening outside during the winter months. Living in the desert gives me the opportunity to grow all of my potion, tincture, and spell ingredients in fresh, cool air. Others (like Winnie the Witch) have to work inside of a greenhouse while the outside ground is frozen. This greenhouse is at the bottom of her R.P. (Resting Place) and offers the only view to the outside — which is typically a graveyard or forest grove. by @dmg_nosek
Winnie has taken off on her grand adventure! Jigsaw, her familiar, is along for the ride whether either of them like it or not. She uses her broomstick to steer her R.P. (resting place) as she explores the world around her. To make ends meet, she delivers packages and groceries. She only occasionally gets into trouble. #character_design #witchart #fantasyartwork #digitalillustration by @dmg_nosek
You know that moment when you are eager to set off on your grand adventure and Mom stops you to take one last photo? This is that moment. Made in Procreate. I was working on doing a small animation with it in Procreate Dreams but it's not the easiest to work in. I may continue that at some point. #witchartwork #roadtrippin #bookillustrations #digitalillustration by @dmg_nosek
Working on a spooky season illustration featuring Winnie the Witch with her friend, Jigsaw. The first part of the sketch was done in a different Procreate file that contained a lot of excess sketches. That part is not included in the Timelapse. #workinprogress #halloweenartwork #witchtober #digitalart by @dmg_nosek
Earlier this year I made a few yellow monochromatic pieces for an exhibit at @foundrephx I made a few different paintings while I tested out what yellow meant to me. One thing I struggle with often is determining whether my art should be intuitive or planned. I go from trying to determine the symbolic meaning of colors and shapes to just throwing paint where ever it feels right. I’m sure there is a middle-ground that would work out better. This was a rough sketch I created when brainstorming. I turned it into a completely different acrylic painting which was not chosen for the exhibit. But I still liked the Procreate image enough that I decided to work on it a bit more and creating something completely different with the same base. #characterart #digitalportrait #itwasallyellow #procreateillustrator by @dmg_nosek
