My intention with CRASH OUT! is to curate a space where queer people can celebrate the freedom of being themselves while holding onto the weekends final hours, and to honor our need to connect through music, movement and joy as act of resistance. I feel extremely proud to showcase the increíble talent from my friends @djgayz , @andro.nedz and @dada.breach ! They have inspired me over the years, either with their mixing techniques or their sick selections and their friendships. There’s always been this magical affinity with each others taste where we continuously inspire each other. I can’t wait to hear their sets! I hope that when you go this Sunday, you just grab a drink, forget that the next day is Monday, have a good time, lose yourself and be stay unserious! We will bring the music selections, you bring the vibes and joy. Savoy has a really nice facilities, a patio and a main dancefloor with screens where the very talented (and cute af bf) @evan_mz00 who made the teaser, will be displaying some sick visuals 😵 Sunday, 10/25, Savoy, 8 PM–midnight, 21+. Free RSPV (link below and bio). 🚨ALSO: TOMORROW!! I will be playing Techno, Hardgroove, Hypnotic Dembow, Acid, Breakbeats, Latincore at Savoy’s Ivanhoe 1915 👏ALL 👏NIGHT 👏from 10pm until close ⛓️. A new techno mix for you 🌹🦄 Featured on the 6th episode of AS Radio Season 2 from the @assortedsounds.ofc fam! Link in bio ✨ The sonic textures of this mix emerges from place of vulnerability and inner struggle. Last year was very emotionally challenging, dealing with a broken heart; but at the same time it was one of the most creatively fulfilling years of my life. The intention of this mix was to tell a story, through these selections, starting from one of my fav ambient track by @kelela , remixed by LEECH and navigating through soulful grooves with an interchange of trancey melodies and hypnotic basslines to ravey guaracha kicks and the everlasting Detroit percussion that is fundamental in the Techno sound. This mix was also a way to flex some of my layering and groove locking skills I learned over the years 🙈😂 Thank you @chandleraltman.ofc not only for featuring me on this episode of your AS Radio show, but for our friendship, and for always sharing your passion, vast knowledge with dj mixing and music producing 🥰 btw check out the snippet of his upcoming release on the second to last pic :) Featured snippets: 1. @reece.cox and @parris.dj “Emotion 1” (kulør) 2. Matt watts “A2 - Axiom” (@limitednetwork) 3. @djbabatr djyoiser “fuma con los panas (sha sha kimbo 666 remix) “ (@termi4eva) 4. @chandleraltman.ofc “honey I broke the synthesizer” (@requirednoise) _ (s/o to @kevinteriors_ for the 📸s!!) by @dmlln
