In 2023, Dodgeball Canada won the Sporting Event of the Year at the inaugural Edmonton Tourism Awards. 🏆   Here’s what we won it for:   In the summer of 2022, we brought two historic events to Edmonton back to back.   The Canadian National Championships welcomed almost 500 athletes from 56 teams across Canada, the largest Nationals in the event’s history.   Then came the 9th WDBF World Championships. 65 teams. Over 600 participants. Six divisions. And for the first time ever, both foam and cloth competing on the same world stage.   Every person who made it happen: organizers, directors, photographers, was a volunteer.   That summer was called the Summer of Dodgeball.   #SummerOfDodgeball #DodgeballCanada #Edmonton #Dodgeball #ClothDodgeball by @dodgeballalberta
