Postcards from Paris 💌

Whilst tearing up croissants and walking along the Seine during Paris Design Week, it seems as though House and Leisure’s Editor-in-Chief – Charl Francois Edwards (@charl_edwards) – spotted more ‘mutt’ than Maison... 🐩

And we’re here for it! 🤎😉 by @dogandleisuresa

We’re not typically the type to celebrate a PR day, but if we had to pick one that we do every year… it has to be the day of the dog. 🐕

Shout out to all the pups, pets, dog people, fur lovers, furries (?), and our cherished Dog and Leisure community. You’re the best. ⭐️

WOOF!

In ‘Canines of Cusco’, Courtney Patrick (@courtney__p__) shares a few snaps from her recent venture to Peru... zooming in on the utterly charming, stylish and pampered Puruvian pooches! 🦙🇵🇪

‘Some belong to nearby homes, while others seem to run the ancient streets themselves. Against historic Incan stonework and the ochre walls of Spanish cathedrals, these pampered pups bring
moments of lightness to the reverent city.’ – Courtney.

Forget Miranda Priestly’s silverscreen comeback... All eyes, paws and claws are on @yuki_injo and her spotted sidekick, Niko, serving up some of the best matchy-matchy looks on the internet, hands down.

Flip to our latest trend spread, ‘Spotted’, for more dalmatians, dots, and de Vil-esque disorder. 🖤🤍

It’s been five Dog and Leisure editions, yes. FIVE. 🗞️ And in the process of putting them all together, one of the highlights is seeing the specially crafted doodle packs that come with each – all illustrated by our friends… ✏️

Featuring the pen prints of @chommiescom, @elzahn_art, @janaandkoos, @mynameiselana, @karenwritesanddraws. 💛

When people think of Italy, they think pasta, pizza, and pleasure... But there’s one more thing the Italians praise as much as they do their Madonna: their Maltese poodles. 🐩

Flip to ‘roaming dog’ for more muts alla Milano – traveling by leash, by bag, by stroller, and always in true (Italian) style! 🧥

We love dogs (obvs), we love people who also love dogs (aka all of you, #shoutout), we love books, and we love dogs on books. 📕 So, naturally, we had to share the recently launched, The Dogs of Vivo. 🐕

In the coming-of-age tale by dog-lover and writer Sven Axelrad (@svenaxelrad), three young artists chase love, art, and the fantasy of being seen, all set against the strange, seductive town of Vivo.

A must-read for lovers of gothic charm and anyone who’s ever felt a little ‘stray’ themselves. 🖤 by @dogandleisuresa
