One thing about the beauty industry — there’s room for everybody. Every artist brings something different to the table, and the right clients will always connect with your style and your vision. 🤍

People see the finished glam, but real makeup artists know every set, every client, and every face is part of the growth. This was only my second bridal makeup, and honestly I’m proud of myself. To go from dreaming about it to actually doing it… that feeling is unmatched. ✨

@govea_diwiz Thank you for trusting me to bring your vision to life and letting me be part of such a special day. This is only the beginning for me. No looking back — only learning, growing, and elevating from here. 💄🥂#dallashmua #bridal#softglammakeuplook❤️💄 by @doinghairthings

Hello beautiful people ✨

What a WEEK. Still trying to process how life just shifted like this… because never did I imagine I’d step into the makeup world—especially in the middle of the ocean 🌊💄

Hi, I’m Lola—your hair girl… and now your makeup girl too 😌

We’re elevating, evolving, and stepping into new levels. I can’t wait to see where this takes me—and trust me, we’re just getting started 🔥

✨ A little gratitude from the middle of the journey… ✨

I’m so incredibly grateful for where I am in life. I’m nowhere near the end goal, but honestly… that’s the exciting part. The opportunities, the possibilities, the doors that continue to open ,they remind me that God is always working, even when I can’t see the full picture. 🙏🏽✨

Thank You, Lord, for every blessing You continue to send my way , especially the ones that come disguised as storms. 🌧️➡️☀️ Because even when life feels heavy, I know there’s always light on the other side.

And now… it’s another EFFY Charter! 🛳️✨💄

I cannot wait to glam some BEAUTIFUL souls and create more memories especially getting to do it alongside my glam besties! 🥂💋 There’s something so special about being able to do what you love, travel, create, and share those experiences with people who get it.

So here’s your reminder from me: DON’T GIVE UP. Keep going. Keep believing. Keep pushing. Your story is still being written, and sometimes the chapter you’re struggling through is setting you up for the one you’ve been praying for. ✨

The tunnel may feel long, but baby… there IS light at the end. 🤍

✨ Introducing Lola’s Hair Play sessions ✨

Feeling stressed?
Overwhelmed?
Need a moment to escape the chaos of everyday life?
Come relax with me.

Remember being a kid and asking someone to play with your hair? The gentle scalp scratches, the soothing feeling that made all your worries disappear for a little while?

That’s exactly the experience I want to bring back.
This isn’t just about hair—it’s about self-care, relaxation, and giving yourself permission to slow down.

✨ Relax
✨ Decompress
✨ Unwind
✨ Reset

For a little while, let go of reality, quiet your mind, and enjoy the comfort of having someone simply play in your hair.
Your peace matters. Your rest matters. And you deserve a moment that’s just for you.
I am beyond excited to begin this new journey and create a space where you can truly relax, recharge, and feel cared

11 years ago, God blessed me with the greatest gift — you. 🤍

Wayne, watching you grow into such a kind, loving, funny, and amazing young man has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Every year, you continue to make me proud in ways you’ll never fully understand.

Stay goofy, stay humble, stay confident, and always stay true to yourself. The world needs exactly who you are. I can’t wait to see all the incredible things life has in store for you because I know you’re destined for greatness.

Son, you are my heart. You are the reason I push harder, dream bigger, and keep going every single day. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you, and I’ll always be in your corner cheering you on through every chapter of life.

We are definitely in our cool era now! 😎✨

Happy 11th Birthday, Wayne! 🎉🎂
May this year be filled with laughter, adventures, blessings, and unforgettable memories.

I love you more than words could ever express.

Love always,
Mom 🤍 #BirthdayBoy #ProudMom #Level11Unlocked #MyGreatestBlessing #CoolEraActivated ✨🎈🎁 by @doinghairthings

Quinceañeras have always been my love-hate relationship 😂, but today I officially came out of retirement!

✨ No extensions, all natural hair, and after 2 hours of styling, we brought this beautiful vision to life.

One thing about me—I’m always going to show up strong. Never underestimate what I can create. 💁‍♀️

Remember, I’m just here to bring your vision to life. You’re the canvas, and I’m the artist. 🎨✨

Thank you for trusting me with such a special moment. Watching a hairstyle come together and seeing my clients light up never gets old.

📍Now booking for all your hairstyling needs!
Hair previews/consultations are a must so we can discuss your vision, timing, and everything needed to make your dream look a reality.

💕 The goal is always the same: beautiful hair, happy clients, and unforgettable memories.##dfwhairstylist #quinceviral #bighair hair by @doinghairthings

Stop doing full coverage just because you can… 🫣

Today’s 1 on 1 was all about complexion—
aka learning when to do less… and make it hit more.

Because good makeup isn’t about piling it on.
It’s about understanding the skin, the placement, the texture… and making it all work together.

Soft. Intentional. Skin that actually looks like skin.

And to my HAIRSTYLISTS ready to step into makeup…
we’re not playing in your kit—we’re building your skill.

This was class one… and we’re just getting started 👀

Today’s product lineup:
(the mix was mixing, as always 🤭)

Skin prep:
@mariobadescu - Facial Spray (Aloe & Cucumber)
@hourglasscosmetics - Eye Balm
@bobbibrown - Face Base

Complexion:
@maccosmetics - Full Coverage Palette + Face & Body Mixing Medium, Transparent Setting Powder

Bronzer:
@maccosmetics - Sunstruck Matte (Richer Golden + Richer Rosy)

Blush:
@urbandecaycosmetics - in Touch Me

Highlight:
@maccosmetics - Cheeky Bronze

Brows:
@maccosmetics - spiked

Set:
@skindinavia - Bridal Spray (because Texas heat is disrespectful)

Brushes:
@mykitco - To Go

If you’re ready to level up your artistry… you know where to find me 💋
PS YES MAC IS STILL ONE OF MY FAVES LOL 😆
