Back in @goldmansachs 10k SB like I never left by @dominionvideo

Before the social media boom, in order to get the word out for your business, you’d have to:

Take out TV and/or radio ads
Billboards
Magazine ads
Direct mailers
Door knocking
Cold calling

Possibly emailing your website (in the early to mid-2000s)

All of which still either cost more money OR more time than creating consistent content and/or running paid ads on social (YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, etc...)

I believe that before social media, business owners/marketing reps KNEW that you had to get in front of people, the right people, to maximize your growth opportunity.

Now, people get mad when there is no return on a lazily put-together Canva/AI flyer or an inconsistent content/posting schedule on social media.

No Earl, you can’t build an audience on your one post every 2 months schedule...

One viral post likely won’t make you rich anymore than you have a chance of making one viral post. Be consistent, be intentional, and implement strategy and possibly paid ads on social to begin to make the noise you’re trying to make online. by @dominionvideo

Word of Mouth is great
Referrals are always welcome
But none of those methods scale…

You want to know if your content is converting?

Bringing qualified and quality leads that you can track.

Some people can hit a jack pot with organic content only, but it’s not common.

Creating an content strategy with both organic and targeted ads working together brings you results because:

The targeted Ads put you in front of your target audience with your message, your offer, your case studies and value proposition. They make you known to more people who you want

The organic nurtures your audience. It provides a deeper level of social proof and authority when people do come back to your page to explore if you’re the right person for them. by @dominionvideo

Things have been super busy but wanted to share a little bts of our work we’ve been doing this past week.

We hope you all are having a safe Sunday! by @dominionvideo

Last week was a great time celebrating with the national cohort of the @goldmansachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program in New York!

I finally got to meet in person a group of people I’ve gotten to know more about and their companies since last September.

We ate, we learned, we laughed, we ate, we explored, we celebrated and we ate some more…

Did I mention we ate???

If you’re a business owner looking to grow your company and want to be with others who want the same and become equipped with the tools to do so, as well as make amazing connections, I could not recommend this program enough! by @dominionvideo
