Despair is propoganda.
Hope is resistance -in fact, it's actionable resistance.

Wanna help save parts of an island with wild horses and sea turtles? You can share your thoughts at the link, let them know we prefer wildlife over yet another mcmansion!

Making french toast & really love the lil spout on the bowl I made. It's good for catching drips between the pan and bowl. 😊🥰😊🥰
Also, @thehoneybeedragon Book Boyfriend candle in the background. It smells like kind of woods you could walk into & know things are magical & lovely. Ooh, petition to rename the candle to Good Woods. It'll get likes from being #wickerman adjacent 😆😆😆 by @domnipottery

Fidget rocks? Not sure what other people call these but I call them thumbs because I keep one in my pocket and when annoyed or tired or nervous or anxious I rub my thumb over it. Thank you @potters_rise_up for the #resist stamp. And yes, of course I had to try a little brick reference for Stonewall.

Day 3 of a headache & really hope it goes away by the weekend. 🙃

Uneven rim? Here's how to use your wheel as a sander: put wet sponge in fingers with the the hand in front of your pot to contiually provide water to help smooth the rim, use back of your hand to brace the pot so it won't fly away, and use your other hand to turn the pot while your wheel is spinning. I've done this since I started pottery because my kryptonite is cutting wonky rims off while throwing.
Thankfully, wonky rims don't happen as often nowadays but if they do then I use this 'hack'. 😁😆

I've been ill and am on the mend. Hoping to get back to studio time soon! Lunch in my own pots: tea (black), tofu and noodles (peanut), tomatoes, pear salad (pears, mayo, cheese). I hope other potters use their own pots, too, as it is incredibly satisfying to sit down for lunch on your own wares. 🥰
Edit: holysmokes, there's over 1k people on this page?? Egads, yes- must do a giveaway soon! by @domnipottery

This is why the Internet Archive and Wayback Machine are vitally important & should be supported monetarily and socially. The information won't be lost due to this org's efforts. @tonyatdigitalfire who has given so much freely to us all, has a paid version which (I'm assuming) remains and will update and should be supported fully for his work.

I've seen 2nd pic/meme a few times & keep meaning to share this with people!
Here's how I keep stickers as momentoes. This is a frame made out of extra wood pieces (not really an actual frame with recesses) & a thin, light piece of metal (I think it's some sort of roofing metal). It holds magnets too but those were a bit more personal so yook those off for the photo.
*The backside has couple frame hanging tacks & wire. I took it down today to redo the paint because it was badly slapped on about 3 yrs ago.

Sooo there ya go, a way to always take your stickers wherever you move. And I'm always looking to add more. 👀😁🥰
