The joy is in the exchange! ✨ Such a pleasure to join my fellow panelists at Manila FAME Talks for “The Business of Design”—sharing our insights on the international marketplace and the connections between creativity, culture, and commerce. I loved the generosity of this conversation: exchanging perspectives, learning from one another, and considering how designers and makers can reach new markets while honoring the cultural identities that make their work distinctive. Thank you, Manila FAME, for bringing us together and creating space for meaningful dialogue. Leaving inspired by the talent, craftsmanship, and possibilities for connection across borders. 💜 #ManilaFAME #ManilaFAMETalks #TheBusinessOfDesign #GlobalDesign #CreativeEconomy CulturalExchange PhilippineDesign by @dondrill.market_editorial

A textile can hold so much: the history of a place, the skill of the hands that made it, and traditions passed from one generation to the next. Philippine weaving reflects the distinct knowledge and artistry of communities across the islands. We at IFDA New York @ifdany are delighted to share HABI: A Philippine Textile Exhibit, launching at Yale this Friday, October 2. The afternoon includes a talk and exhibit tour. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating Philippine textile traditions. @dti.nyc #textiles #handmadeinthephilippines #yale #exhibittour #philippinetextiles by @dondrill.market_editorial
