Put Up or Shut Up | Director’s Breakdown | 1 of 3

Congrats once again to @teofimolopez and his team on the W… “and the new.” 🥊

Even though the fight has concluded and this was only a 90-second promo, I wanted to give you a little context on our approach and how we’ve been producing boxing content over the past few years.

There’s still a lot to learn, but we try to be as intentional and resourceful as possible while avoiding the corny, cookie-cutter approach that’s become pretty common in professional boxing content.

Here’s a little look behind the scenes at the thought process and approach that went into this one. 🎥

Parts 2 & 3 coming soon 🙏🏾

*If you don’t know what this is about, please see my previous post 😆

It was an absolute blast and an honor to direct & produce this.

My longtime friend @keydove_nicky reached out and told me about the vision @teofimolopez had for this piece. From there, we combined our ideas, inspiration, and resources to bring it to life.

Teofimo absolutely killed it, and everybody came dressed for the occasion. It was a pleasure working with Teo’s family and team, my bros Nick & @adriandelosreyes_ , and my team on this one.

More content from this shoot coming soon. 🥊🎬 by @donovan_707

One of the feature pieces we produced for Errol Spence Jr. vs. Tim Tszyu 🥊 🎬

Grateful we had the opportunity to tell this story for what ultimately became the final fight of @errolspencejr’s incredible career. Congratulations to @timtszyu on an impressive victory in front of his home crowd. 🇦🇺🇺🇸
