Ethan and I had some fun with my @newyorkfilmacademy Photography School homework project to create fantasy portraits 😂

Given its officially #halloweenmonth , the choice for this projects theme was obvious.

@spirithalloween provided the perfect location to get creative with the assignment.

Wondering through the labyrinth of #marrakech famous market, #marrakechsouk was a glimpse into the lives and culture of of the cities inhabitants. With temperatures in the triple digits, we constantly sought the shelter of shade.

We passed by an endless succession of fruit and nut stands, snake charmers, leather vendors, and shops selling traditional Moroccan clothing, including djellaba, kaftan, and shesh.

In the heart of the #jemaaelfna , you are completely enclosed, surrounded by shops in a sea of pedestrian traffic, where ones sense of direction can quickly be lost.

One of the most unexpectedly best parts of our trip to #marrakech was the fire dancer. As a photographer, you dream of being at the right place at the right time, and I’m so grateful to have captured this performance.

Thank you for the amazing show @abdrahimtitofe
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

When shooting in low light, it is very difficult to capture motion and detail, you normally have to choose one.

The 3rd photo is my favorite because you can see his face, almost ghostly.

A complete album with my best pictures will be coming soon!

@thebsidez - Heritage 08 31 2024

When shooting in a dark nightclub using a flash, #photoediting becomes essential to correct the often difficult lighting.

My one piece of advice, always shoot #underexposed. You can save more from the shadows of a dark photo than the brights of one that is #overexposed

Thank you for the amazing feedback for the style of this shoot!

When shooting nightclubs I like to stylize the crowd and DJ.

For individual poses, I create the most flattering composition possible.

Excursions are one of the best parts of traveling. Always do your homework when deciding between the countless location specific options. In our case, being in the desert, we wanted to go ATV riding. Our hotel planed the excursion and all we had to do was pay. Honestly, the pictures look a lot better than the experience. We were with one of many ATV companies in the wide open expanse of the Moroccan desert, but ours was the only one that didn’t allow us to free ride. 😭

I highly recommend you do the research and read the reviews before paying a ton of your tourist cash for a disappointment.

Visiting Morocco with Ethan was such an amazing experience. It was our first trip to the continent of Africa and to a Muslim country. The best part of the trip were the incredible group of people we got to travel with.

I took 2000 photos on his trip, these are just the 1st, some of my best.
