Another lap around the sun 🎂

And every year I get a little more confused about how this is actually my life 😂

I feel like I’ve lived about 9 different lives already. I’ve started over more times than I can count, lived in places I never imagined I’d live, done things I was wildly unqualified to do, changed my mind, changed direction, made some questionable decisions 😂 and somehow ended up with a life that little me genuinely wouldn’t believe.

I didn’t have some master plan. I still don’t.

I think I’ve mostly just gone through life with an unreasonable amount of confidence that I’ll figure things out… and then worked very hard to make sure I do.

But the older I get, the more I realize none of that is really the point.

I get another year with my husband. Another year watching my babies grow. Another year healthy enough to move my body, work, travel, laugh, make plans, drink entirely too much coffee and continue operating under the assumption that everything will probably work out 😂

I get another year of being here 🫶🏼✨

And the older I get, the more that feels like the best birthday gift there is 🥂

The champagne is decorative. Obviously 😂 by @dorothealavida

Summer is almost over and I have decided that’s misinformation ✌🏼

Mentally I’m still somewhere around mid-July ☀️

My tiny cuties always wander into my photos because they want one too, and honestly I hope they never stop doing that 🥹🥰❤️

🫶🏼✨💖

I thrive in weather that makes everyone else complain 😌🔥

Marbella with my tiny entourage 😂🥹❤️

A significant portion of my holidays revolves around food and I’m comfortable with that 😌

I will wear a dramatic dress at 2pm, and nobody can stop me 💃🏼 by @dorothealavida

I think I finally figured out what I want for my birthday every year from now on: just more time 🤍

More birthdays. More trips. More dinners that turn into late nights. More ridiculous family stories. More years with the people I love.

We had the best little birthday getaway in Mallorca and, somewhere between the beautiful views, way too much food and trying to keep track of everyone, I had one of those moments where I thought… yeah, this is it 🫶🏼✨

My little team really does feel like life’s peak. I know that sounds ridiculously corny 😂 but I genuinely couldn’t be more grateful for the life I get to live and the people I get to live it with.

And because apparently I’m not allowed to get too sentimental without life immediately humbling me, we missed our flight home 😂🫠

The airport was a real sitcom, la familia was out the door at 4am, and with three kids under six… 😵‍💫 If you know, you know 😂

C’est la vie! What can you do but laugh, crank back a few coffee and snacks, and tell yourself you’ll have a chuckle about it later. And we did.

Honestly, I think I’ll take that version of life.

The beautiful trips and the 4am airport disasters. The perfectly planned days and the ones that go completely sideways. Because years from now, I probably won’t remember the missed flight. I’ll remember that I got to be there.

Another year older, another year of this crazy, beautiful life. Feeling very grateful. 🤍

Life is good. Life is wonderful. Life has jokes. 😂❤️

Stay blessed. by @dorothealavida
