I’m still trying to find the words for how grateful I am for our Days Between celebration.

Thank you to Zenbarn in Vermont, Lark Hall in New York, and The Homestead in New Jersey for welcoming us so warmly. Thank you to everyone who came out, and to the entire Grateful Dead community for continuing to keep this music alive, evolving, and full of possibility.

There were moments on stage when I would look around and see old friends and new friends alike, listening closely, taking chances, improvising, and creating something together through music we all hold so dear. To be in the middle of that is something I will never take for granted.

To the musicians who stepped up and absolutely took no prisoners: Cotter Ellis (@goosetheband ), Brian Murray & Jimmy Law (@dogsinapileband ), Jack Vignone (@swimmermusic ), Jon Colman (@muscletoughband ) and Jessica Leone (@allnightboogieband ). Thank you for bringing such conviction, emotion, fearlessness, fervor, and wild passion to this music.

Each of you brought your own voice to these songs and pushed them somewhere new without losing sight of what makes them so sacred to us.

We are incredibly fortunate to have inherited the musical language Jerry and the Grateful Dead helped create. To honor those foundations while stretching, reshaping, and reinventing them, discovering where they might lead on any given night, is a privilege that touches me deeply.

That is what I love most about this music. It belongs to all of us, and it keeps evolving because we keep bringing ourselves to it. New friendships form. Old friendships deepen. Strangers meeting strangers just to shake their hand.

Thank you for dancing, listening, singing along, and trusting us enough to explore.

And thank you, Jerry, for bringing us together in ways I don’t think any of us could have imagined.

🚨 ANNOUNEMENT 🚨

✨For the first time, Dobbs’ Dead is taking its celebrated special guest residency spirit beyond Burlington for a three night “Days Between” run across the Northeast. The journey begins at Zenbarn on 8.1, before heading to Lark Hall on 8.2 and Homestead Bar & Kitchen on 8.3. Originally born out of Dobbs’ special guest residencies at Nectar’s, the tradition continues with an all star cast featuring Cotter Ellis, Brian Murray, Jimmy Law, Jon Colman, Jack Vignone, and Jessica Leone joining Josh Dobbs for three nights celebrating the music, community, and spirit of the Days Between.

✨Dobbs’ Dead is not interested in recreating the past note for note. Treating the material less like museum pieces and more like standards, the band uses the songs as launchpads to explore uncharted musical territory night after night. Fueled by the inspiration these young musicians grew up with, Dobbs’ Dead brings a modern, cosmic energy to the music while remaining deeply rooted in the improvisational spirit and sense of adventure that made it timeless in the first place. This is not a show to be missed.

It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks for Dobbs’ Dead as we finally try to catch our breath.

Strawberry Jam. Jam for the Parks. Art Hop at Upstate Elevator. Creekfest. And to cap it all off, the DSO / Dogs in a Pile, Grand Point North FREE after-party, where you all showed up and made it possible for us to throw down for 3.5 HOURS STRAIGHT.

What a crazy night.

We started at 10:45 PM and you didn’t let us off the stage until 2:15 AM - AND IT WAS A BLAST!!!

Thank you for continuing to bring this kind of energy to Burlington and all across Vermont. We feel it every single time, and we couldn’t do nights like this without you.

The music surely never stopped! ⚡️💀🌹

Grateful Gravel is a concoction from the minds of cycling enthusiast Dead Heads in the Mad River Valley that blends the
worlds of endurance sports and music festivals into one event. Two entertainment endeavors that collide to move you
brightly. Grateful Gravel provides a challenging cycling event featuring some of Vermont’s most picturesque
landscapes and gravel roads that segues into a face melting gathering of community and friends to enjoy the song
catalog of Hunter, Garcia, and the rest of the Grateful Dead.

The day begins with a 21, 46, or 63 mile gravel ride that makes your legs scream louder than Donna Jean during a mid-
70’s Playing in the Band. And new for 2026, we’ve added guided mountain bike rides feature the debut of our newest
trail! An epic after party at Cousins Brewing starts about 2:30 pm with music, food, beverages and more.

All riders can refuel after the ride with a small meal provided by Silk Road and a beer compliments of Cousins Brewing.
Additional food and beverage will be available for purchase.

Bring your friends and family – everyone is welcome! For non-riders, music and party admission for those 12 and over is
$15 in advance, $20 day of. Concert admission is included with ride registration. Want to camp out? You can book two
