When we first got engaged, we knew we wanted to get married at a Brewery to celebrate our shared passion of Craft Beer. Something we both enjoy because of the Father of the Bride.

We chose to get married @weddingsatthepalace home of @wylam_brewery then include some craft beer details in our day:
🍻Personalised keg badge
🍻Pour your own keg during the drinks reception
🍻Bar tab instead of table wine during dinner
🍻Craft beer can table decorations (styled by @muscari_uk) - we collected cans from our favourite breweries then chosen those ones that were special to us or were relevant to our guests
🍻Schooner glass wedding favours (from @inspiration_limited with help from @yardtynemouth)

Third on our North East Brewery Wedding Venue list is @fullcircle_weddings @fullcircletap

This venue is so cool and in a perfect location near the Quayside. It can hold 70 guests in the day and 100 at night time. External catering is an option so there is lots of flexibility in terms of food.
The coordinator Kate is absolutely lovely and so helpful. We really loved this venue, love their beers and it is so lovely inside but unfortunately we couldn’t get our guest numbers down but it is perfect for a more intimate wedding. The outside is has the perfect city wedding industrial style for modern photos and it has one of the more unique confetti throwing areas we have seen. Check out @fullcircle_weddings for the styling options. by @double_taproom

The second venue on our North East Brewery Wedding Venue list is @the_end_hemmel at @riggandfurrow

This gorgeous venue gives you the best of both worlds. Set in a Northumberland Barn but with an on site brewery. It holds 150-200 guests and you can either dry hire or get a package and you can organise whatever catering suits you.

Beer options are included in their drinks packages and there is even a highland cow 🐄

Next open day is on the 2nd of August by @double_taproom

We are so lucky to have so many Brewery wedding venues in the North East 🍻 As we get closer to our wedding, we wanted to share these to make like-minded couples choices a little bit easier 🍺

First up is the incredible @weddingsatthepalace - the venue we ultimately chose 🍻

Wylam Brewery can host weddings from smaller intimate ceremonies to large numbers of guests. It is licensed so you can get legally married here with a Registrar although if you choose a celebrant then they are happy to provide beers during the ceremony! There are several craft beer-themed extras you can choose including your own keg of beer with a personalised keg badge and brewery tours plus photos behind the scenes in the brewery itself. The location is beautiful in the middle of Exhibition Park and the coordinators and chefs are incredible! Definitely one to consider if you want a more traditional wedding but with a brewery twist 👰

We have a list of venues to cover but please post your suggestions below 🍻 by @double_taproom

First trip to @mosaictap new home. We tried beers from @sureshotbrew, @bluntrockbrewery x @brewserbeer, @glasshousebeerco and @omnipollo 🩷 Stopped off @wobbly_duck for @vauxbrewery and another sureshot 🍻 End of the night @mean_eyed_cat_ncl with a classic El Santo by @double_taproom

Throwback to 2 years ago when we spent Super Saturday @deyabrewerytaproom with a stop off @littlemarthabrewing before jumping on the train 🍻 by @double_taproom

Slightly different to our usual content but we went to @littleaidansncl for their Valentine’s supper club last night 🩷 It is usually once a month and BYOB so last time we brought a growler to drink with our meal.
Stopped by @brandlingvilla after for a pint of @twicebrewedbrewco 🍻 by @double_taproom

Bermondsey Beer Mile 🍻 We were at a birthday party so went to the bigger bars and stopped @thekernelsparoad then @craftbeerjunction where we had beers from @brewyonder and @flocbrewing then finished in @thedoodlebar.druidst where we can’t remember the beers! Definitely worth stopping by if you are in London by @double_taproom

Monday night in Newcastle (we have both worked the weekend)
@mean_eyed_cat_ncl - we both had @beerriffbrewing and @deyabrewery collab Push the Button - 5.2%
@townmousencl - @burntmillbrewery GF west coast IPA and a sneaky 1/3 of @turningpointbrewco 8% DIPA
@punchbowlncl
@thecarriagejesmond - @anarchybrewco Shearer’s foundation brew and @brewyorkbeer Kerqa by @double_taproom

@thecraftylodge is a just a short bus ride away from our house and we will definitely be back. Amazing service, vibe and great beer at a reasonable price. We had several of @twobytwobrewing grasshopper as well as @wylam_brewery Affogato and Jakehead Embryo 🍻 by @double_taproom

First visit to @sandhill_arms by @wylam_brewery - we sampled the Surrender to Immaturity and the @northernmonk collab 🍻 We will definitely be back for the pies 🥧 by @double_taproom
