🧠🧊☀️ Houston summer doesn’t negotiate, and neither do we. A lil brain freeze is a small price to pay for staying cool, and with the weekend finally here, these frozen cocktails are your best defense:

SUFFERING BASTARD
- Kentucky Bourbon, London Dry Gin, Lemon, spicy Jamaican ginger beer, Angostura bitters, mint
- A spicy, aromatic frozen mule-meets-julep with bold ginger kick, herbal gin complexity, bourbon warmth, and a cool mint finish.

PALOMA
- Hornitos Silver, 100% agave tequila, lime, lemon, grapefruit soda, blood orange. Optional Salt or Tajin!

The @houmidmain Block Party returns THIS THURSDAY and @doubletroublehtx is offering 25% off our Gator’s Garden cocktail and all @saintarnoldbrewing beer! Gator’s Garden is a mean green drink you won’t wanna miss that’s shaken with @citadellegin and organic cucumber vodka as the anchor, layered with pineapple, lime, matcha, and celery bitters with a salt ‘n’ pepper rim that’s served over ice. It’s a lil grassy like you’re having the ultimate garden festival.

AND we’ll have a lil tarot card reading on our patio if you’re down ✨🔮!

This month’s party is benefitting @biohoustontx, a Houston-based nonprofit that works to establish the region as a global hub for life science and biotechnology commercialization. It supports technology and research by leveraging our city’s deep academic infrastructure to drive economic growth and solidify Houston’s standing as a world-class player in the life science industry.

Para el mes de la mujer, Maker’s Mark está invitando a mujeres de la industria de la coctelería a crear un cóctel inspirado en mujeres a quienes admiran.
Decidí hacer mi cóctel inspirado en mi madre. Ella ha dado muchísimo por mí y por mi familia para que estemos aquí. Su esfuerzo y dedicación son increíbles. Ella hace ganchillo como un pasatiempo (mi camisa fue hecha por ella). El cóctel se basa en cómo es mi madre, dulce, cariñosa y con los pies en la tierra. El jarabe de Amarena con el limón le da ese toque agridulce, y el Suze ayuda a equilibrar esa dulzura lo suficiente.

With unbelievable grief and regret, we share the loss of our beloved Troublemaker, Nolan Currier @nbc1118–the gentlest giant, strong defender, talented handyman, absurd comedian and most loyal, reliable friend. Nolan, you are missed so much by so many.

To Nolan, thank you for all you have given to our family at Double Trouble and to the whole community within and around The Block. I hope you know how much we love you and appreciate your tremendous influence in our lives. Rest in peace 🫶
