As violence escalates in Lebanon, migrant workers, refugees, and marginalized communities are once again pushed to the margins of the response. Many are displaced, undocumented, excluded from formal aid systems, and surviving without protection.
Emergency Response Coalition: Voices of the Unseen is a grassroots collective coming together to act — quickly, directly, and with dignity. Feminist. Anti-racist. Community-rooted.
We are mobilizing support for: • Food & water
• Medication & hygiene supplies
• Emergency shelter support
• Direct assistance to migrant and refugee communities
This is solidarity in practice. Not charity. Not optics. Real response, led by people on the ground.
If you can contribute, please do.
If you can’t, share. Visibility is also protection.

Did you know that in Sierra Leones rice is imported? Rice is an important staple in our livelihoods. We have the land to produce rice, but instead our Government imports it. Sierra Leone has high unemployment rates & a poverty crisis that predominantly impacts women. We have perfect land for farming so why aren’t we using it? This is why we have started Seeds for Solidarity to create sustainable futures & produce job opportunities for former migrant domestic workers. Today we are searching for a tractor so that we can develop the project, create jobs & reduce hunger.

As part of voices of the unseen campaign, Over the past weeks, Syrian Eyes carried out an intervention in the Bekaa Valley, reaching Syrian families who have been excluded from formal shelter access and are now living in informal refugee camps under harsh conditions.

In this phase, we supported around 50 families with essential aid, including food parcels, mattresses, blankets, as well as diapers and infant milk for children.

This response was made possible with the support of @chooselove

A big congratulations to our lovely Lucy for being recognised among the 50 Most Influential Northern Women in Leadership. This honour reflects her drive for justice and her commitment in equipping women and girls with the tools, confidence and collective power for change in our communities.

Lucy reminds us that real change is built through organising, solidarity and community. She leads with courage, humility and a deep belief in collective struggle, bringing people together and opening space for those too often pushed to the margins.

You are our mentor, our role model and our comrade in the work. This recognition is well deserved and marks another milestone in your community rooted, liberation focused leadership.

Congratulations! May your light continue to shine and may your influence continue to transform our lives and communities. Love, solidarity and power. by @dowansierraleone

From day one, they have been building power, breaking barriers, and standing together. 💪🏾✨One year ago, ROR published their Manifesto to share their message of resilience and change. Today, they share what one year of ROR means to them.
—why they fight, why they resist, and why they will never stop as long as the Kafala system exists and exploits them.
