My 9th Burning Man was as incredible & awe inspiring as ever, however as always, I wanted to share a few of my lessons from the year. Maybe you had some of your own - please share! Here are 4 of mine, plus 4 bonus ones in the comments 👇

We did this little dance number number in a 3 minute gap between two ✨wild✨ dust storms at Burning Man this year 😇 It was SO fun to be part of the @glamcocks CANDY party, and a big thank you to @thebadasstronauts for letting us rehearse that day 💖 Big love to @luckyjasonneckjazz for having us, to ALL the dancers who showed up and made this happen, and our amazing friends that filmed it for us 😌
.
Until next year, keep it dusty ✌️

Giving these away… (mostly 👀), so made a video to remember them! Goggles are one of my 3 big gifts at Burning Man this year. They’re a lot of effort, but in the right moment they can make someone’s whole day!

What actually helps when you know what you need to do, but your brain is refusing to get on board?

Our Co-Founder @downunder_d shares three of his favorite systems for staying on track during busy or difficult weeks, including @beanapp_focusbsf, @focused_space, and his own weekly @alonzee.official sessions.

The right support does not have to completely transform your life overnight. Sometimes it just needs to help you take the next step 🧡

My love letter to every volunteer, donor, ticket holder, sponsor & partner of this year’s @broadwaybaressf (did you hear they made $178k that night?! 🥹😭🥹). It would never have happened if @jjthekillah @sourpatch_bear hadn’t said yes back in January, without the MONTHS of hard work from our Production, Team & Performer teams - and I’m so excited for the 10th edition of this show next year.

Thank you to the @sfsisters / Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for the recognition of @leamydeb and myself - we are so grateful, we don’t even have the words. Big love to the beneficiaries @richmondermet / @broadwaycares, good luck with Broadway Bares NYC this weekend & I hope everybody has a happy and safe Pride.

We gave our website a proper glow-up 🧡✨🧡 Say hello to Alonzee!

Same mission, just way clearer, more intentional, and actually feels like the energy we’re trying to bring!

What’s new:
• New name (Alonzee)
• Orange branding to reflect momentum + energy
• Cleaner, more consistent design
• A UX that actually flows
• Set up so we can keep building on top of it

Massive credit to @nel_gomez - he brought this to life while I handled the build @downunder_d

Go take a look and tell me if we pulled it off 👀

After many incredible years, we’re passing the torch. ❤️ Deb and I will be stepping back from our lead roles with Broadway Bares SF this year - Deb is off enjoying more life in Reno, and I’ve been deep in building @alonzee.official - and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s next.

This show, and this community, mean everything to us. And we’re so proud to be handing it over to @sourpatch_bear and @jjthekillah, who are bringing fresh energy (and a very fun video game twist 👾) with StripStation 9.

We’ll still be around as advisors, cheering from the sidelines and supporting the team however we can - but this year belongs to them.

To everyone who’s been part of Bares SF over the years: thank you. Truly. You’ve helped build something really special.

Auditions + show info are live now at @broadwaybaressf - please go show them some love!

(And yes… you may see @alonzee.official pop up as a sponsor soon 😉)

See you all very soon ❤️

Please help spread the word about @broadwaybaressf auditions happening this coming Sunday, March 29th at LINES Ballet Studios! Everybody’s welcome regardless of dance ability and I personally can’t recommend being in the show enough!

This year my loves @sourpatch_bear and @jjthekillah are taking leadership roles in running the show and I will be here cheering them on every step of the way (more on that soon!). Show day is Sunday, June 14th 💃

For now, check out the “Volunteer” page of the website for all the info! #broadwaybaressf #broadwaybares #auditions #reaf #fullout by @downunder_d

Sweet moment with a sweet boy ❤️💌❤️ by @downunder_d

This year got easier when I let other people help me stay on track. That’s kind of it. Never mind the sun in my eyes 😌
