Open jamming is my favourite part of a mehfil when the words / music and love flows freely through the room and everyone engages as a community.
I needed to leave this mehfil a bit early since it happened to be my closest buddy’s birthday that day, so here’s all I have from the open jam that day at @anjuman.e.adab mehfil. Sharing a snippet.
What an evening! 💕
Thankyou @uroojmazhar for opening your home and heart to keep nurturing and growing this safe space 🥹

Also shukriya to each and every adabi in that room that day who made the evening as special as it was… this will stay with me 🥹💕

P.S. Thanks to the beautiful @zunashashiqali for beautifully capturing the pulse 🤗 by @doyelsings

ভাবানুবাদ - sense interpretation or interpretive translation.
O Gaan-ola (oh song-man) was my first encounter with sense interpretation/translation of a song (Bob Dylan’s ‘tambourine man’).
As you can tell, it stayed with me in the list of my firsts. 😊🫶

“Kemon Boka Mon Ta Re…” (how stupid my little heart is…)
Durga Utsav, 2026

Radha and Krishna. Shiva and Parvati. Different forms, one eternal truth — the supreme power of the universe is love, and love alone. ✨

A narration for Shakti, a beautiful production by ADS, performed at the Durga Utsav at Banga Parivar celebrating the divine feminine and the eternal energy that binds us all. by @doyelsings

“Jis mann ko laage naina… woh kisko dikhaaoo?” (Algorithm ko, I guess 😉)

Grateful for all the beauty that finds its way to hug my soul through my eyes. And when the world wears pink and lets me belong to its beauty, I can’t help but wonder… perhaps we, too, are a little beautiful? What a privilege to be, alongside this beauty 🌖❤️

Apologies for the sound quality but if you wait to really feel the vibe at the end of the video and you’ll know why I turned to this song. It resonates, and I’m glad 😇

Grateful to find verses that are kind of my mantra, ones I can fall back upon when things don’t add up.
A recent conversation reminded me how much self consumed and full of ourselves we can get.
Dude, we’re maaaaybe a spec in the greater scheme of things. So chill.
Posting this from a show a few weeks back.

This is the only video I have from that day, thanks to @sifar_shayar by @doyelsings

Songs that break and heal at the same time ❤️‍🩹
Thank you @sshhweta4 for being your magical self on the keyboard during this fairly random jam (it was the first time we played this together. Ever)
Thankyou @infiniteshoonya for bringing back this song to me
