I was on fire and didn’t want to stop to surf and train but after a wipeout, my body showed me its limits. I couldn’t lift my right arm anymore without pain or do anything with it. For sure, I was desperate because surfing was the main reason why I came to Brazil and I had still 1 month left.

After some days of frustration and grief, I gained hope. This is because of two amazing men who were there for me, helping and supporting me on my healing journey. My wish was to be able to surf again - at least once or twice - before I had to fly back to Germany. The doctor, I was sent to for an ultrasound was super nice and took the time to explain me the circumstances but he didn’t believe that I could surf for months.

However, don’t believe everything until you haven’t tried differently - @dr.joaomoreno (Dr. MAP Técnica:)) & @gmadeira.fisio proved the opposite. Due to their therapies I could start skating & surfing after 2 WEEKS again! How crazy is that!?

So, I just want to thank you again, both of you, for having made the time and cared for me! I feel so blessed for your presence, appreciating your help and support a lot. Honestly, anyone who has the chance to be a patient of yours can be really lucky. Thanks so much! 🫶🏼🙏🏼
