Happy Anniversary to ME. 🥂💙

Wow. I am officially ONE YEAR post-op! I honestly can’t believe it’s been a year.

Time flies when you’re busy having fun… (lol, sure 😂)

Looking back at where I was a year ago compared to where I am today, I’ve made SO much progress. But one of the biggest things I’ve had to learn throughout this journey is patience (especially patience with myself).

I still have good days with my knee, and I still have bad days. That’s just part of recovery. But one thing is for sure: every single day, it keeps getting better. ONE DAY AT A TIME.

I’m amazed when I stop and think about how much more I can do now compared to what I wasn’t able to do for YEARS because of my knee.

I remember when something as simple as standing up from a chair could make my knee lock up. Going up a step, or even a flight of stairs, could make it lock up. Sometimes, it would just randomly lock.

So yes… these exercises may look ordinary. But to me, they’re anything but.

They represent progress. They represent patience. They represent all the work I’ve put in and they’re a reminder of how far I’ve come.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey and helped me along the way. Dr. Bri (@yourptbri ), Dr. Christina ( @dr.christina.pt @elevatedptwellness , and my orthopedic surgeon, Dr. William Weiss (@william_m_weiss ). Thank you! ❤️

This may be the end of my knee recovery series, but it definitely isn’t the end of my knee journey.

Here’s to the next chapter. 💙✌️

Your tennis game is won with cuts, shuffles, and quick reverses, not straight-line speed alone.

Circular shuffles into fast alternating step-ups train the agility you need when every point asks you to change direction. Stay in a bent athletic stance, keep a steady pace through three rounds each way, and you start owning those multi-directional patterns on court.

We build this kind of sport-specific work around how you actually move, so your body is ready for the chaos of a match. Mobile PT means that training happens in the spaces that matter to your game.

Knee pain does not mean you stop your soccer training. It means you must train smarter.

If the standard 90-degree position hurts, drop to 60. Still painful, go to 45. Work in the range you can handle and build from there.

Keep your knees, hips, and feet aligned throughout.

This is part 2 of Dr. Nina's knee strengthening series for soccer players. Stay tuned for part 3!

Your daily reminder to do your mobility exercises.

Foot direction is apparently optional. 😅

We will let it slide just this once.

The TRUTH About Rehab 👇

Recovery isn’t a straight line...and that’s okay. ❤️

At 9 months post-op, I wanted to share an honest update—not just as a physical therapist, but as a patient.

Life happened.
My rehab wasn’t perfect.
And that’s exactly why I wanted to make this video.

If you’re recovering from surgery or an injury, this one’s for you. 💙

👇 Have you ever felt like your recovery took a few steps backward before moving forward again?

The Bulgarian split squat is hard to set up right. Here is what to fix.

If you are hitting the bench during the squat, scoot your back foot forward. The distance between your front foot and the bench matters more than most people realize.

Balance on the non-working leg. Stay controlled. When done right, this is one of the best knee-strengthening exercises out there for soccer players.

The Copenhagen plank doesn't get nearly enough credit in soccer training.

Your inner thighs, adductors, and groin take a beating every game and this exercise targets all of it.
