Għeżież Ċittadini Punks, Iva, nafu li ġimgħa tard u għadna qas għidnilkom grazzi tal-bużż kbir li ħloqtu ġewwa l-GrintaFest, imma konna għajjenin, muġugħin, reqdin, u imdejqin għax spiċċa l-GrintaFest u balla nejk insomma. Però issa qomna, u minn hawn nixtiequ ngħidulkom grazzi ħafna tas-sapport tagħkom. Għaż-żgħar: nisperaw li ħadtu doża sura ta’ punk biex tibqgħu tiġu l-gigs u tissapportjaw x-xena lokali. Għall-kbar: nisperaw li qanqalnilkom naqa memorji sbieħ u urejnikom li x-xena għadha ħajja. Il-President jixtieq jirringrazzja il-bands kollha li daqqew: Bruda, 5 Years From Now, Bila, Il-Pupi Tal-Logħob, BNI, u l-Banda ta’ San Ċipress, kif ukoll il mistednin speċjali tagħna, Noel, Rex u Dino tal-iXtruppaw. Ringrazzjament kbir ukoll lejn il-bosta nies li kienu nvoluti b’xi mod: Sarah, Shannah, Raffaele, Egan, Ditmar, Andre, Steve, iż-Żiżża, iż-Żgħiru, Glen, Nicole, Rosa, u Noel. Grazzi speċjalment lis-sponsors tagħna, Music Playground, Tigullio, Reciprocal Records, Bad Karma Co., Tuff, Fuck Yeah Water u Screen Girl Merchandise. Grazzi minn qalbna (u nisperaw li nerġgħu narawkom daqt), F'GĦOXX IL-PUNKS SAL-MEWT Dr. President by @dr_president_maltapunks
Managed to catch Festahwid’s natural successor. The first edition of Grintafest ticked all 3 boxes: punk, DIY, & a hit. I arrived too late to catch all the acts, but BNI & Il-Banda ta’ San Ċipress killed it. Respect to David & anyone involved in the organization of Grintafest. Underground events would disappear without people like you. #maltaevents #maltapunks #journalistlife by @dr_president_maltapunks
