@Dragalactiq a multifarious group of diverse queer performing artists, bring an energy and ideas that subvert the accepted notion of queer art. Colourfulness is by no means the only way to aesthetically explore queerness and Dragalactiq places individuality and expression at the front and centre of everything they do.

For the first time, Magnetic Fields saw two drag performances, Saturday night in the palace where within a dynamic movement installation, a series of scintillating queer performances as consecutive acts came alive inside a massive embroidered drag vivarium. Then on Sunday night, intergalactic gender-fluid cosmic creatures took over the Peacock Club for the legendary closing party with dynamic selector @orla_cd

Our final instalment of Magnetic Minutes as we roll into 2024 👀

A drag performance conceptualised & choreographed by @0sheen in collaboration with @nitya.arora for Vallian’s collection 5.0 jewellery presentation - with insect like drag characters inspired by the ‘spacebug’ looking jewellery pieces.

08.08 || saturday || strangr nights

saturday at our vv home slots in an eclectic set by dj and prod @zokhuma, who brings an explorative line-up of electronica & house before getting a bit more steamy later in the night. “ hang w friend, a yummy
cocktail & a little jig” is what arman promises.

also in the course of the night our drag divas from @dragalactiq come by dasht gard for round two, this time a routine that take us into more intimate spaces of drag. osheen & dame imfala subvert the lens and brings backstage to the fore by revealing the performance before the performance - where influencer culture meets backstage kiki, and the trans-mutation is as chaotic as it is sacred ft projection mapping & tech translations by @adhiwave
