💜🌙 THE STORY BEHIND LOLLY’S LULLABIES! 🎶📖

It all started with TWO exciting announcements! 🍼🍼

I learned that I had two grandbabies on the way, due just SIX WEEKS apart! My heart was overflowing with joy! ❤️

As a singer and songwriter, I wanted to give them something special. Not just a gift they could hold, but something they could carry in their hearts for a lifetime.

So, I began writing original lullabies filled with messages of love, comfort, protection, and gratitude.

Then my niece planted another seed when she suggested, “Why don’t you put the lyrics in an illustrated children’s book?”

And that’s how Lolly’s Lullabies began to take shape! 🥰

What started as a grandmother’s gift to her grandchildren is becoming a collection of original lullabies and a beautifully illustrated book that I hope will bless families for generations to come.

And now, with illustrator Tiana Cooper bringing my vision to life, I’m excited to share this journey with YOU!

💜 From Lolly’s Heart to Your Home.

🎶 QUESTION: Parents and grandparents, did you sing lullabies to your little ones? What was their favorite? I’d love to hear from you in the comments! 👇🏽

🎶 BELONGS TO YOU… IN ANY LANGUAGE! 🌎🙌🏽

I’m learning something new, y’all! 🥰
After ministering my new single, “Belongs to You,” at an event where many attendees were Spanish speaking, I was inspired to learn how to sing portions of the song in Spanish!

With the help of a wonderful colleague, Sandra Marcela, I’ve verified the translation, and she even recorded the pronunciation for me! Now I’m practicing! 🎤😂 and I need my Spanish speaking singers, Yolanda Fabian, to help with the rhythmic breaks and phrasing.❤️

But here’s what excites me most…
Worship is not limited by language! ❤️
Whether we sing “It Belongs to You” or “Te pertenece,” the message is the same:
🙌🏽 ALL OF OUR WORSHIP BELONGS TO GOD!
And it has me thinking… What would “Belongs to You” sound like in YOUR language? 🌍🎶

Stay tuned! Something beautiful may be coming! ❤️

Different Languages, One Powerful Message! ❤️

What an honor it was to sing and share my alopecia testimony at the Women of Power Luncheon this past Saturday!

For the first time, I had the experience of sharing my testimony through a Spanish interpreter! What a beautiful reminder that our stories can transcend language barriers and touch hearts across cultures. ❤️

One of the most meaningful moments was learning that two women who also live with alopecia were encouraged by my testimony. 🥹❤️ Moments like these remind me why sharing our stories matters. You never know who needs to hear that they are not alone!

I’m especially grateful for the wonderful host and event coordinator, who also served as my interpreter. Thank you for helping me share my heart and my message with these amazing women!

My journey has taught me that our circumstances do not define our identity or determine our worth.

I have alopecia, but alopecia doesn’t have me! 🙌🏽

Here’s a little snippet of what I shared. My prayer is that someone else will be encouraged to embrace who God created them to be.

Different languages. Different journeys. One message of hope! ❤️

What a blessing to minister my new single, “Belongs to You,” at the Women of Power Luncheon in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month! 💜🎶

Many of the attendees were Spanish-speaking, and I would LOVE to minister part of this song in Spanish! 🥰❤️

So, I need a little help from my Spanish-speaking friends! 🙋🏽‍♀️

Between ChatGPT and Google Translate, here’s what I’ve come up with:

🎶 Te pertenece
Te pertenece
Toda nuestra adoración te pertenece

Nadie más lo merece
No hay nadie más grande 🎶

Now, here’s where I need YOUR help! 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

Is the translation correct? And more importantly, how do I pronounce these words and make them fit the melody? 🎤

My goal is to sing the same song, with the same melody and rhythm, just in Spanish!

¡Ayúdenme, por favor! (Help me, please!) ❤️

Sometimes the moments that don’t go exactly as planned become the moments you remember most. ❤️🙌🏾

When I realized I had sent the wrong track for “Belongs to You,” I asked the audience to help me out—and they did! What could have been an awkward moment turned into a beautiful moment of shared worship.

And somehow, that feels so fitting for this song. It was never about a perfect performance. It was about the message:

🎶 “Nobody else deserves it there’s no one greater” Belongs to You. 🎶

Thank you to everyone who lifted your voices with me. You made this moment special.

“Belongs to You” releases THIS FRIDAY, October 9! 🙌🏾🎶

The Story Behind the Song

This song is personal. ❤️
There was a time when fear, shame, and self-hatred had such a strong hold on my life. I struggled for years to accept what I saw in the mirror. But God did for me what I couldn’t do for myself.

He set me free.

The lyrics of “Belongs to You” are even included in my book, Breaking the Shadows, because this song is part of that testimony.
So when I sing that all the glory, honor, and worship belong to God, those aren’t just lyrics.

I mean every word. 🙌🏾

Belongs to You — October 9.
