Let me yap for a second. This one means a lot to me.

Getting into athletics as a creative is no joke. Especially if you don’t have a degree.

Every day I was refreshing job boards, applying to everything I could regardless of where it was, doing free “assessments,” getting ghosted, getting denied, getting denied after multiple interviews, and even getting turned down by my dream team because I didn’t have a bachelor’s degree.

I get it, education matters. I’m not here to discredit that.

But a piece of paper shouldn’t be the only thing that determines whether someone gets a shot. Not when they’re willing to outwork people, learn faster, care more, and grind for it every single day. I’ve dedicated my life to being a creative. Just because I didn’t want to put myself into crippling debt for the rest of my life, shouldn’t mean that I’m not worthy of a job.

I don’t flex often, and I never want to come off like I have it all figured out. I don’t.

But I’m proud of the fact that I kept going when it would’ve been way easier to quit.

If you want something bad enough, you can make it happen. It may take longer, it may be absolutely brutal at times, and you may hear “no” more times than you can count.

But one yes can change everything.

(btw there are like 7-8 more of these denial emails that I just couldn’t fit into one picture lol)

KEEP GOING. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO. by @dre.ux

incredibly blessed & thankful for my time with @ugaathletics 🤍

from call of duty edits to working with one of the most dominant sports programs in the country, i have been able to accomplish so much here.

there are so many people to thank - from the goated interns i got to work with (@bennett_metcalf & @hype.illustrated), to the boys who always had my back (@jperrycreative & @brodiephotoz), to the ones who believed in me from the start and gave me this wonderful opportunity (@chad_morehead, @llg_creative), to the @uga_gbsm team & all of the amazing people i met over there…

i will never forget all of the people around me who have always believed in me & never gave up on me when i felt like giving up myself.

i have so much more to say, but for now, this is where this chapter ends…

…but this is just the beginning.
stay tuned.
