Leaning into rest isn't just a passing fad even though it's talked about a little more lately — resting is a lifeline. Hustle culture whispers: “Do more. Be more. You’re falling behind.” But in Matthew 11, The Lord reminds us: ““Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest....learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Creative pros, wedding industry friends - you are not machines. You are beloved children of God. There is space for you to breathe, rest, and still run a successful business. 💬 Question for you: Where do you feel hustle has stolen your joy lately? by @dreamteamacademie
I will never not be grateful that I got to share #weddingcampJUBILEE with my family... It's been 2 1/2 weeks since we said see you later to our out of town friends, but the good times we shared together still linger. I'm reminded of how incredibly blessed we are on days like today (our family gets together almost every Sunday @thehomesteadonpeanut ) One of the things we did that was so meaningful & precious during Camp was to give affirmations around the campfire (thanks, @parkermp ). I was truly impacted by the kind words that Guides & Campers shared about the members of my family who gave selflessly to ensure that everyone felt at home and made sure that things ran smoothly. I'll treasure those words forever - they've given me even more gratitude for a circle of people who love me so well. And that week, my family (and my heart) grew a little bigger as I got to know more about my brothers & sisters in Christ. To those who aren't with us at the table today, I'm thinking of you. And I love you all. ♥️ Jacqueline by @dreamteamacademie
It’s hard to put into words what happened at #weddingcampJUBILEE . . . but if you’ve ever been somewhere and known God was working - you’ll understand. From the very first gathering, we sat in a circle and opened our hearts to one another. We got to know each other in a way that made 48 hours seem like a whole month (in the best way possible). Our focus was what we believe about ourselves and God, which shifted to the truth - Who He is, and what He says about us. We prayed for not just our businesses, but for our purpose . . . that The Lord would show us how to serve using the gifts He has given us, from a place of rest and joy instead of hurry and hustle. The days were full of laughter, honest conversations, and so many "wow, I get it” moments that reminded us we aren’t alone in this journey. Around the campfire each night, we shared stories (some tender, some hilarious) and we felt the kind of encouragement that runs WAY deeper than small talk. It was the sound of brothers & sisters in Christ, lifting each other up. And in between? We ate together. We sang songs of praise & worship. We made art. We breathed in the fresh air. We let go of comparison and the "success" culture that is always waiting for us. We allowed ourselves to just be present. God reminded us who we truly are. His. We can't help but believe that everyone left a little lighter. A little freer. Camp JUBILEE wasn’t just an event. It was a taste of eternity . . . the kind of fellowship, joy, and peace we were made for. We are already counting the days till we do it again 🙌 *all images by @reflectivelightbynicole by @dreamteamacademie

Meet Shaun Austin Gordon - he is one of our Camp Guides. He is a successful business owner and founder of multiple companies... but if you asked him what defines who he is, we are willing to guess those titles might not be at the top of his list. He is passionate about relationships and digging in deeper than surface-level. His obsession with integrity and "becoming the best version of yourself" are just two of the many reasons we are thrilled that he is coming back to @thehomesteadonpeanut this year. These short clips from #weddingcamp2024 and his well-listened & loved podcast "High, Low, and Unexpected" are a glimpse of the wisdom and encouragement Shaun will bring for us all. There are just six sleeps until #weddingcampJUBILEE ! Will you be joining us? by @dreamteamacademie
