@send.receive has been a long-loved fest, bringing amazing artists to our city that otherwise probably wouldn't be here. Very honoured to play Dreejur's second ever show as part of it! It's an incredible bill full of other artists I've also long admired. Come have your mind melted!!! Come be washed in sounds!!! by @theascensionsound

Dreejur has arrived. Link in bio. Forgetfulness in the Food Chain was a long time in the making. It was an exercise in approaching music making in a brand new way. It was about making space for feelings to flow through me. For sounds to be uncovered through exploration and play. To follow a feeling or idea as far as it would take me. To learn new sonic tools. To gather sounds from the life around me and find a place for them to live on record. I am thankful for the help of a talented community of creative folks - @jasonjtait who graced the album with vibraphone and mini cassette fuckery, @galacticacidlibrary my often partner in crime and maker of the gorgeous cover collage, @matthew_c_peters for his masterful mastering, @ad_nauseam_official for letting me borrow a sample from their very cool song "Sub Specie Aeternitatis", @krisulrich & @jordbiss & @royalcanoe brethren for lending me instruments, and the many artists in my physical community (and outside it) that inspire making feelings into sounds. Only available on Bandcamp for now, but will be on all the places you listen to music in a few weeks, I reckon. Please enjoy at your leisure. by @theascensionsound
