Here’s to the ladies! by @dremmamccrory

Honoured to be lecturing today on behalf of @bosbraces. Thank you to all the delegates and to my co-host Dr Sharif @greenacre_orthodontics 🙏🏻

Special mention to Nigel and Toby who trust me to take the baton from them 🙏🏻

Some recent examples of what I like to called ‘Passive Interceptive Orthodontics’ - I haven’t rushed in with an appliance; just used the evidence available and applied it sensibly to encourage the developing dentition.

Both patients were treated with simple extraction of the deciduous canines and a ‘watch and wait’ approach.

🎙️ New episode alert!

This week on Conversations With Dental Friends, I’m joined by Dr Emma McCrory, a specialist orthodontist who’s built her own orthodontic practice right here in Northern Ireland.

We’re diving into everything from:
✨ What speciality training really involves time, cost, travel, and all the realities
✨ Relocating as a specialist and finding your place
✨ The highs and hurdles of setting up your own practice
✨ Building and empowering an incredible team
✨ The secret weapon that is orthodontic therapy
✨ And how Emma’s journey has evolved into education and beyond

A huge thank you to @dremmamccrory for sharing so openly there are so many brilliant takeaways in this one, not just for orthodontists, but for the entire dental team.

Thankyou so much to our amazing sponsors @duerr_dental and @dmi_dental 🫶🏼
