Royal Palms by @tempaper_designs 🌴⚜️🦜 A stunning metallic gold with tropical trees and birds• I am thrilled with the finished product!

Additional tips and tricks
• do not DIY - do it with another set of hands (at least)
• find a flat surface for cutting & a board that’s blade safe
• buy a squeegee intended for walls- not a shower
• don’t be afraid of math and just measure the square footage to get an estimate of how many rolls you’ll need. I ordered three separate times 😅
• squeegee from the inside out pushing all the air out
• use a pencil to mark and wait until the last minute to trim off any excess at the top and bottom of the wall.
• measure and measure again and then check that
• wrap your outlet covers like a present
• when blading off excess use the squeegee as a guide on your way down
• spackle nail holes and any bumps you wouldn’t want visible through the wallpaper
•strive for perfection but accept imperfection if you tried your best 💛

Thanks @margueriteville for your impeccable measuring skills, @richie_bananas for impeccable eye and expertise in the squeegee and @jamesportagallo for re-grouting my shower and spackling the previous nail holes 💛 it was a team effort by @dresserupnice

This dresser was 100 + years old painted in thick white oil based paint, drips and all… after appreciating that those drips were frozen in time from 1920 I got to work… and voila, a Boho styled writing desk sold to a customer in need of a quiet corner ☕️

The creative process theme song for this piece was basically “ I once was lost but now I’m found (at a garage sale), was blind (because it was turning out real ugly for a second) but now I see.” 🥹😍
