A conversation with two Yardies 🇯🇲 a while back in Portland, OR on a fun production called A.C.G.I written and produced by Jason Samuel Smith (camera man for this video). Joe Wiggin is an incredible tap dancer and is always great to share the stage with!

This Saturday April 27th 7:30pm at the beautiful Grace Farms in New Canaan, CT. I will be joining my good friend on sax @theothermarcusmiller presenting another edition of "Beauty and Logic" with this edition titled Resonance Revealed. This will be an immersive series presented by Marcus exploring the science behind our favorite sounds and the math related. He put together a great band to perform music related to the presentation.

Starting about 14 years ago Marcus and I would have these deep conversations regularly about the relation between Math and Music. We would get together and talk about rythmn, frequencies, harmony and melody and how they translated mathematically. Marcus being a graduate of Harvard in Mathematics and a master musician helped me learn so much more about the complexities of the math world. The bouncing of ideas back and forth eventually led to me encouraging him for us to one day create a presentation we could do onstage.

Fast forward to today with the help of many amazing people along the way we have successfully presented Math+Music all over the world in places like MoMath NYC as a residency for well over a year, Detroit, China, a fantastic Ted Talk and now a residency that Marcus curates at Grace Farms. Come through and enjoy Resonance Revealed! by @drewbydrums
