I make music
POSTS STORIES REELS
Hi! It’s been about 2 years since I moved to college station and a lot of people have no clue what I’ve been doing here so I’m telling you now When I moved here I had a lot of good ideas and plans, all of which immediately failed, leaving me stuck in a pretty deep hole for the first 8 months. At the bottom of that hole, Jesus began his work. Gradually, I stopped trying to force what I wanted so hard, and he filled my hands with things he knew were far better for me. I’m so glad my plans didn’t work out. Since moving, He’s brought me out of a deep depression (again), given me some of the most beautiful friends I could ask for, and has begun to restore parts of myself that had been ravaged for the past 6 years by insecurity, depression, addiction, anxiety and suicidal ideation. I now believe God is calling me to pursue music and ministry full-time. Doors are opening, and I think he’s going to send me to Nashville when he sees fit. Ultimately though, I’m open to go wherever He leads. TLDR To say the past two years have been trying would be an understatement, but God has so deeply shown me his kindness, and I don’t think I’ve ever been happier with my life. If you read all this, thank you. I really appreciate you. Read Isaiah 61. The Father loves you in every moment that you think He doesn’t. by @drewfasthoff
