Walking Shadow Shakespeare Project + Austin Scottish Rite Theater present Shakespeare’s Henry 4.1! Nov 6-22 Tickets $10 It’s a choose-your-own-adventure inspired by three exciting branches of the Austin music scene, as you’ll have to decide which Henry to follow for the first part of this story: Will you sit with the powerful, but exhausted King Henry 4? The rowdy and avoidant Prince Hal? The fiery and impassioned Hotspur? You’ll experience the first 20 minutes with your chosen group, and then the rest of the show together. All info - link in bio / walkingshadowshakespeare.com HUGE Thank you to Austin’s own Ishaq Fahim for the absolutely brilliant poster design. by @drewson75
We know we're pretty new to town - we know that y'all may not have had a chance to see our shows before getting that BIPAC ballot, so we wanted to share a little love for our nominees and show you what we're so proud of. B. Iden Payne Award Council Nomination: Andrew Solis for Outstanding Fight Choreography in Caesar + Antony + Cleopatra Can y'all believe this was Andrew's FIRST FIGHT CHOREO SHOW IN TOWN???? We can't either. He's a natural. The way he cares for his actors, makes sure they're confident and comfortable - and the way he can replicate the chaos of war in a confined space...we're so grateful for his work and so excited to keep seeing what he brings to Austin. BTW: can we make a little noise for the actors performing these fights? Congrats Andrew, for the recognition - we're so proud of you. Video Edit: Jacob Schatz by @drewson75
