Why are more women starting to own firearms?

According to a study conducted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham, women are more likely than men to consider owning a gun primarily for protection, which is likelv because women are more fearful of crime and victimization. In addition, a survey found that 18% of women have become more interested in owning a gun in the last five years due to fear for their personal safety.
However, there are also women who are hesitant to own and carry guns due to concerns about safety issues, including the risk of accidental discharge and the potential for children to access the firearm.
That’s why someone purchases a firearm, they should know how important it is to get familiar with it and learn how to use it properly to avoid accidents and injuries.

Why are some women afraid to own firearms?
The media has a large impact on the way we see things now. What you hear/ see about guns in social media or the news can create a negative impact on your views of guñs. Don’t let these scare tactics ruin your confidence and hold you back from protecting yourself and the people around you.

Hi everyone, here’s an introduction to me, my name is Danyela and I’ve been shootįng competitively for about 10 years now. I knew from the beginning when I first learned how to shøot, that I wanted to do it in competition like my dad did. The first and most important thing I learned about guñs was safety. Safety comes first, then accuracy, then speed comes last. I’ve wanted to help train women in shootįng for a long time now and I always have people asking me if I can teach them. I got NRA certified a while back, but once I turn 21 in January, I can officially teach classes. If you’re interested In learning from me, don’t be afraid to ask questions If you have them. And for my men followers, let your wives/children/girlfriends know! 😊 by @drills.with.danyela
