We recently celebrated #nationalroséday 🌹🥳 a day very close to our hearts as we’re coming up to our 1 year anniversary since launching our Skinny Tinny still rosé…

And what a year it’s been! Amongst amazing support & love from our customers, we’ve also managed to scoop a silver award at the London Wine Competition 2023 - with our rosé scoring the highest out of all the canned wine entries - cheers to that!

Here’s what the judges had to say:

“Redcurrant & fresh & zesty with a bone dry palette. Lovely strawberry & blossom notes too. Great price, great product.”

🛶 Perfectly convenient 250ml serving in individual cans

💫 Lower in calories at 52kcal per 100ml

Today is #worldenvironmentday

♻️ There are so many benefits to using aluminium cans for our wine - the main one being it’s impact on the environment. Here are some stats that may surprise you:

❗️Glass bottles have around a 95% bigger contribution to global warming than aluminium cans

‼️ Glass takes more resources & energy to produce than plastic - burning more fossil fuels in the process

(Source The Conversation)

So many of us reach for the glass bottle thinking it’s the best alternative to plastic & in the wine industry you don’t often get many alternatives. But we want to change that & provide consumers with a more sustainable choice 🌱

Our aluminium cans are endlessly recyclable & it’s great to see that the U.K’s aluminium recycling rate continues to grow year on year, with a record 82% of aluminium drinks cans being recycled in 2021, an increase of 3% from 2020 (source Alupro) 📈

But we can of course do more & here at Skinny Tinny we continue to review our supply chain & product ranges to make sure we’re doing our bit for the place we all call home 🌎

When one of your amazing customers sends you their Saturday night set up 💫🌹

We love hearing what our fellow Tinny’s think about our cans (the good & things we could improve). We wouldn’t be doing what we’re doing if it wasn’t for you & we will be forever grateful for all of the love & support that’s come our way 🧡
