Sanvi Bhagat shares her thoughts on today's young generation, where some couples leave their homes to get married and later make TikTok videos saying that their parents should not interfere in their lives. She highlights an important issue about the changing mindset of today's youth, the importance of family values, and the responsibilities that come with making life-changing decisions. Love and marriage are personal choices, but they also require maturity, understanding, and responsibility. Parents spend their entire lives caring for their children, so their emotions and concerns deserve respect too. At the same time, young people deserve to have their choices and feelings understood. A meaningful conversation about love, marriage, family, and the generation gap. Negotiation is not just a skill; it's a way of life. Whether we realize it or not, negotiation is part of almost every decision we make. From our personal relationships and family discussions to business deals, professional opportunities, and everyday situations, we are constantly finding ways to understand each other, adjust, compromise, and reach common ground. Many people think negotiation is only about business, money, or convincing someone to agree with them. But in reality, it is much more than that. It is about understanding different perspectives, knowing when to speak, when to listen, and when to make compromises without losing your own values. Life rarely goes exactly as we plan. Sometimes we have to adjust our expectations, sometimes we need to stand firm on our decisions, and sometimes finding a middle ground is the smartest choice. The real art of negotiation lies in knowing what matters, understanding the other person, and creating a situation where both sides can move forward. Because in life, you don't always get everything you want, but knowing how to negotiate can help you find the best possible outcome. Watch more insightful conversations on Aapan Podcast 2.0. Good people are everywhere, whether in America, Nepal, or any corner of the world. Kindness has no nationality, and humanity has no borders. Sometimes, a small act of kindness from a stranger can remind us that there are still people who care, help others, and make the world a better place without expecting anything in return. Just as we see kindness, generosity, and hospitality among Nepali people, we can also find the same beautiful qualities among American people. Different cultures, languages, and lifestyles may separate us, but compassion and humanity connect us. We should never judge an entire country or its people based on a few experiences. Every society has people with different personalities, but genuine kindness can be found everywhere. A helping hand, a warm smile, or a simple gesture of support can cross every cultural boundary. At the end of the day, what matters most is not where someone comes from, but how they treat others. Whether American or Nepali, a good heart deserves appreciation and respect. Good people are everywhere. Humanity has no borders, and kindness speaks every language. Good parenting starts with spending time together. In today’s busy world, many parents focus on providing the best education, a comfortable lifestyle, and a bright future for their children. But sometimes, in the process of providing everything, they forget that children also need their time, attention, and emotional support. Children do not just need material things; they need parents who listen to them, understand their feelings, guide them through difficulties, and celebrate their small achievements. Even a few meaningful moments spent together can build trust, strengthen relationships, and help children feel valued and understood. Parenting is not only about telling children what is right or wrong. It is about setting an example through actions, creating an environment where they feel safe to express themselves, and teaching them values through everyday experiences. A child may study in the best school and have access to every opportunity, but the love, guidance, and connection they receive at home play an important role in their development. Never let the responsibility of providing for your children replace the joy of being present in their lives. Sometimes, the greatest gift a parent can give is their time. A good school is important, but it is not enough to shape a child’s future. Education goes beyond classrooms, textbooks, and examinations. A child also needs proper parenting, guidance, discipline, and strong moral values to become a responsible individual. Parents are a child’s first teachers. Children learn how to behave, respect others, manage their emotions, and understand the world by observing their parents. Even the best school cannot replace the role of a family in building a child’s character and mindset. Many parents believe that enrolling their children in an expensive or reputed school is enough to ensure their success. However, academic education without proper guidance and values may not prepare a child for every challenge in life. Schools and parents must work together to help children develop not only academically but also emotionally and socially. A good school can educate a child, but good parenting helps shape their character. A child’s future depends not only on where they study, but also on what they learn at home. A good school doesn’t guarantee a good student because education is not limited to classrooms, textbooks, and examinations. A school can provide knowledge, discipline, and opportunities, but a child’s overall development also depends on the environment in which they grow up. Parents are a child’s first teachers. The values, habits, manners, and mindset children develop at home often influence how they behave, learn, and interact with others. Even the best school cannot replace the importance of proper parenting, emotional support, and guidance. A child needs more than academic success to become a responsible individual. They need to learn respect, honesty, discipline, critical thinking, and the difference between right and wrong. These lessons come from both teachers and parents, working together to shape the child’s future. Instead of expecting a school to do everything, parents must also take responsibility for their children’s growth. After all, a good school can educate a child, but good parenting and guidance help shape the person they become. Should a person fit the mindset, or should the mindset fit the person? We often try to change ourselves to fit the expectations of society, our surroundings, or the people around us. We follow certain beliefs and rules without questioning whether they truly match our personality, values, and way of thinking. But should we change who we are to fit a particular mindset, or should our mindset evolve according to who we truly are? A mindset should not become a limitation that prevents us from growing or expressing ourselves. At the same time, personal growth requires us to challenge our own beliefs, accept new perspectives, and learn from our experiences. The goal is not to blindly follow society or stubbornly reject every opinion, but to develop the ability to think independently and make conscious choices. In this thought-provoking conversation, Rajan Koirala explores this idea with Lokendra on Aapan Podcast 2.0, encouraging us to reflect on the relationship between our identity, mindset, and the expectations placed upon us. The real question is not whether you should change yourself or your mindset, but whether that change helps you become a better version of yourself. Parents are a child’s first teachers, and the lessons they teach go far beyond books and classrooms. A child learns how to speak, behave, respect others, handle emotions, and understand the world by observing the people they grow up with. Before society influences a child, parents help shape their mindset, values, habits, and beliefs. The way parents communicate, react to problems, treat others, and handle failure often becomes an example that children carry into adulthood. Children may forget many words spoken to them, but they often remember the way those words made them feel. That is why parenting is not just about providing education, food, and comfort; it is also about creating an environment where children feel understood, learn responsibility, and develop the confidence to think independently. Every parent makes mistakes, but the willingness to learn, listen, and grow alongside their children can make a lasting difference. Sometimes, the greatest lesson a parent can teach is not through advice, but through their own actions. A child’s first classroom is home, and their first teachers are their parents. Gen Z wants success overnight, but often forgets that every great journey takes time. In a world where social media constantly showcases success, luxury, and financial freedom, it is easy to feel like we are falling behind. We see others achieving big things at a young age and start questioning our own progress. The truth is that success is not built in a single day. Behind every achievement are countless struggles, failures, sacrifices, and lessons that people rarely share. We want the results, but sometimes forget that the process is what makes us ready for them. There is nothing wrong with dreaming big and achieving success early, but patience, discipline, and consistency matter just as much as ambition. Everyone has a different journey, and someone else's success does not mean you are failing. Stop rushing the process. Focus on growth, trust your journey, and remember that lasting success takes time. Visit Aapan Podcast 2.0 for more meaningful conversations about mindset, success, and personal growth. Most people live by society’s beliefs, follow its norms, and make decisions based on what others consider right or wrong. Over time, they forget to question those beliefs and discover what they truly think for themselves. In this insightful conversation, Rajan Koirala explains this idea on Aapan Podcast 2.0 with Lokendra. Society influences our mindset from childhood, shaping our choices, ambitions, and understanding of success. We often follow the path everyone else takes, not because we believe in it, but because we are afraid of being judged for choosing differently. True awareness begins when we learn to question what we have always accepted as normal. Not every tradition is wrong, and not every social belief is meaningless, but we should have the freedom to think, understand, and decide for ourselves. Don't let society think for you. Learn to think beyond society. Watch this thought-provoking clip from Aapan Podcast 2.0 and reflect on how much of your life is shaped by your own thoughts and how much is influenced by the world around you. “The grass is always greener on the other side.” We often look at other people's lives and imagine that they have everything we are missing. We compare our journey with theirs, admire their success, and forget to appreciate what we already have. But the truth is that every life has its own struggles, challenges, and unseen battles. In this insightful conversation, Rajan Koirala explains the meaning behind this popular saying on Aapan Podcast 2.0 with Lokendra. Sometimes, what looks perfect from a distance may not be as perfect as we imagine. We become so focused on what others have that we fail to recognize the value of our own opportunities, progress, and experiences. The key is to stop comparing your life with others and start focusing on your own growth. Instead of constantly wishing for someone else's grass, learn to nurture your own. Real happiness comes from gratitude, self-awareness, and understanding that everyone's journey is different.
