What if the “new” wellness conversation women are having is actually thousands of years old?

Women have had a relationship with this plant across cultures and generations for a very long time.

And today, science is helping us understand something our ancestors couldn’t have known: our bodies have an entire regulatory system, the endocannabinoid system, that interacts with compounds found in the cannabis plant.

So why do so many women still know almost nothing about it?

Why is credible information about cannabinoids so difficult to find?

And what might we want to understand about this plant as we navigate sleep, stress, mood, pain, intimacy, hormonal changes, midlife and aging?

These are conversations women deserve access to.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit @bookstoregallery_atl and experience the space. It’s beautiful to see a safe place to exist, consume, learn and collaborate.

We were joined by @gmed_cannabis and @bestdirtylemonade.mass (@herbaltrucker / @lemonadepapiomari ) what followed was a discussion about how to support the evolution of the GA Medical Program as they expand product categories and how to ensure the transition includes intentional data collection and process mapping so patients don’t get left behind.

Hoping everyone is having an amazing time at @necanncon NJ and can’t wait to hear about @beast.rod RESEARCH Symposium. There’s so much great work happening and I am grateful to have amazing colleagues in this space 🍃🙏🏽
