Today is my born day. It marks another year of life lived, another year of memories and experiences to reflect upon, and another year of thanking God for the blessings of good health and a sound mind.

As I step into this next year, I hope to move with greater wisdom in my decisions and grace toward myself for the lessons learned along the way. I pray that past mistakes continue to shape me into a better, stronger, and more thoughtful person. I want to work more intentionally and efficiently toward the goals I’ve set for myself, while remaining grounded in what matters most.

Here’s to continued growth, deeper purpose, and embracing each new year with gratitude, humility, and love. by @drwoodallruff

Last week was a whirlwind of milestones! My youngest attended his senior prom, and the very next day, he graduated from high school. Words can’t express how proud I am of this incredible young man — Class President, graduation speaker, ranked 4th in his class, founder of K.I.N.G.S., ATLAS Fellow.

Next stop: UPenn’s Wharton School of Business… The best is yet to come! ✨

27 years of managing a full-time career
26 years of being a full-time life partner
21 years of full-time motherhood. None of this was easy. This is my proof that I’ve done something right. Proudly continuing this journey, embracing every step along the way. 🤎 by @drwoodallruff

This month, I organized an office “spa retreat” for the incredible women on my medical team at @hsvsnyc 🤎

We enjoyed a workshop on self-care and wellness, indulged in aromatherapy, and treated ourselves to facials. 🌸

This shared experience gave us the energy boost we needed to continue our daily mission of serving those most in need. Our work is undoubtedly challenging, and these women deserve to be recognized for their hard work and dedication. I am truly grateful to do what we do and to have these “superwomen” by my side. 🥰

Special shoutout to @aisha.jenae and @daniwood02 Together, we have founded the Sisters in Medicine Mentorship Program tailored to closing the gap of Black women as doctors, by inspiring, and collaborating with deserving and interested female students of color. 👩🏾‍⚕️

This was our pilot year and it was a success! I had a great time sharing my story with these young women, I know their futures are bright! Today we handed the students their certificates of completion for finishing the mentorship program. 🥰
