POSTS STORIES REELS

Every spring @dsheek finds himself putting in miles to head off to the big gravel events like @unboundgravel. But life is about finding balance and when the snow starts to melt in the Eastern Sierra, he always finds himself exploring the high country before the mountain passes are accessible to everyone.

The plan for the day was to use every type of e-bike Niner has to offer and gather a crew of local shredders, @mrricecooka and @natessworld, to pedal for an adventure. Riders started at 7,000 feet of elevation and climbed 10 miles up to 10,000 feet before jumping to split boards. Hiking into the hills and sliding on the edge of Yosemite National Park turned out to be one more good reason for owning an e-bike.

We love when adventures are only accessible to those willing to pedal, damn it.

We only put things in front of you that we truly stand behind, especially here in the mountains!
That’s why BUBS Naturals is a perfect partner for Mammoth TUFF. Riders were able to grab their clean Collagen Peptides for recovery at registration (and with free Sunday coffee!) and rely on the Hydrate or Die Electrolyte Mix at aid stations to keep hydration natural and efficient. Recovery and performance, optimized for the high-altitude grind.

Walter says all clear!
After a stressful week, we’re looking at clearer air for this weekend and no one is happier than us. Thanks to everyone who stuck it out and played the long game with the forecast. Our thoughts are with the team working on the Garnet Fire on the west side of the Sierra as we take a couple days to recreate responsibly over on the east side and remember what a delicate, beautiful area this is.

Activities resume as scheduled and we will see you out there! If you waited for air quality updates and missed registration, we will take sign-ups in person today and tomorrow morning. And maybe bring an umbrella to the rider meeting? #ExploreYourTUFF by @dsheek

Join @dsheek and @owen_czeschin from #MammothTUFF for a Mammoth Gran Fondo pre-ride this Friday!

This will be a light, 1.25-1.5 hour shakeout ride, perfect for loosening up your legs before the big event. We’ll roll out from Footloose Sports at 1:00 PM and have plenty of time to chat all things TUFF as we do the Scenic Loop route.

Don’t worry, fat tires not required. Dave won’t turn on any dirt roads 😉 Hope to see you there! #ExploreYourTUFF #Ninerds by @dsheek

Circle the White Mountains. After years of talk we finally did the loop to prep for another TUFF Venture coming soon. Thanks, domestique @owen_czeschin for the early pulls when coach added an extra 13 miles from forgetting his pack. 🤳me #eastsideisthebestside #exploreyourtuff by @dsheek

Day One: Sea Otter Fun - The new @ninerbikes ORE, 😍the battleship gray and snapping/cheering on the LTGP throw down. #seabeaver #classic by @dsheek

The time has come to share the @ninerbikes new Off Road Explorer (ORE). My notes: lighter, drives different -especially in the bumps, and still knows how to party. Go watch the new video to understand the difference between it and what most gravel bikes do. Listen to @ninermondo and get your @$$… by @dsheek

We are live. @mammoth_tuff newsletters have been sent and registration is open. It’s open to all riders who want a TUFF adventure and those looking to race a qualifier in the @ucigravelworldseries

Fun weekend getting clobbered @therockcobbler. After 2.5 weeks of being sick it was a good whole body reminder of how bikes work and make you feel. #getoutside #exploreyourtuff by @dsheek
