in my room, at my work table, with just a small warm light on and no other lights. airpods on to cancel out the construction noise coming from outside my window, husband reading his manhwa with his airpods on, weather’s okay now since it’s evening, and i’ll probably take a short bed break in a few minutes by @duaaathanvi

liveliness of colors - رنگوں کی رونق

took me a while to start noticing the colors around me and then adding more. can’t say if it has made a difference in who i am but i definitely find myself drawn to the sense of comfort and warmth and رونق each color carries by @duaaathanvi

remember how when we were kids and there would be a dawat at home and our moms would be running around the house, the kitchen would be full of people, a major gossip sesh going on at the kitchen counter, and we’d be running around with our bowls asking for more ice cream? felt a little like that last night <3 by @duaaathanvi

sorry but im not going to shut up about it till i share and post everything 👉🏻👈🏻 by @duaaathanvi

my little dinner recap <3
i was honestly quite sad throughout the dinner and even after because i barely got to spend time with everyone who came. It was my first dinner so i obviously didn’t account for a lot of things and ended up being so occupied in the kitchen that i couldn’t actually be out there at the table with everyone. but watching all the videos made me feel like i got to be a part of it all over again and made me realise that no matter how chaotic things were in the kitchen, the table felt so happy and lively. 🥹

im a BIG FAN of rice bowls and this felt like the perfect way to share my love for rice bowls with everyone who came <3

churros kept me up ALL NIGHT trying to perfect the recipe and whether i should pre make the batter or make it at the venue. Glad they turn out sooo good.
and my bestie made THE BEST hot chocolate to pour over them

@thevanillabean.co saved the day with their syrups!!

glad i could make it happen with the most talented people and the sweeetest guests <3 by @duaaathanvi

The drinks for my little dinner are here too, and they are just as full of flavour as everything else on the table. 🤍

Hibiscus tea, tart and floral with bright red fruit notes. Green apple, crisp and lively with a tangy finish. Red cherry, sweet and a little nostalgic, tasting like the candy you grew up on.
All made by @vanillabeanco to go alongside @thanvistable’s menu. ✨

The menu for my little dinner <3 is finally here, and yes, you should come hungry. 🤍

We’re beginning with seekh kebab tacos, a little creation Duaa has been dreaming of serving for ages. Then comes D’s Rice Bowl with sambal fried rice, chicken, something crispy, and something creamy. And because no comforting dinner is complete without something sweet, we’re ending with cinnamon-sugar churros, chocolate, toppings, and ice cream. ✨

Every course carries a little piece of home, a familiar flavour, and Duaa’s own playful twist. Come take a seat at our table and let @thanvistable feed you with love. Drinks menu coming soon! 🥰
