The Clerys building has rich history for Dubliners and their dating life prior online apps, which have destroyed the meaning of actual dating or what going on a date is, in our humble opinion, but we digress.

Under Clery’s clock will always be associated with romance and love in Dublin.

Clerys Department store and popular tea room first opened in 1853. It abruptly closed in June 2015 after running into financial difficulties after 162 years in business.

The original clock was installed in 1922 during the rebuild and replaced with the current timepiece in 1990.

Due to its central and convenient location, it made sense to meet under the Clerys clock.

This was once thee popular meeting spot for first dates, couples, and friends when coming into Dublin City Centre.

On this day, we waited to meet anyone. Most hoomans walked by focused on their phones. A few did stop after walking by to look at us.

Yet no one was there to meet us. We were under the #clerysclock too.

Perhaps it was because of the clear blue sky and sunshine weather that we were left waiting under the clock.

We were out on our #sundaywalk enjoying the sunshine and 16 C degrees [61 F]. We found this wee gem of a store in Dublin's city centre. #moutainwarehouse specialises in outdoor clothing and equipment. Mountain Warehouse allows you to bring your dog into the store whilst you shop for your next adventure. Dogs just need to behave and be respectful when in the store. No growling or barking please. Hoomans need to be responsible for their dogs and the dog's behaviour. Dog owners get ready to come visit Mountain Warehouse and find some great deals and do not be afraid to ask their experts about what you'll need for your next big adventure with your dog, or without, which might put you in the doghouse. #petfriendly #wheretoshop #petfriendlydublin irishdachshunds dachshundphotography cutedogs irishdogs weeniedogs instadogs cutedachshunds instadachshunds dogsofeurope doxiesofinstagram dogslife doxie teckel dackel dogsofdublin dachshundsofinstagram dogs_of_instagram dogsofinstagram dogstagram dogsofinsta dogsofinstaworld petsofinstagram

Dublin footpaths are seeing an increase of dog poop not being collected by their owners. To be a parent and any animal parent, one should be responsible, in our humble opinion. It does the rest of us responsible dogs a disservice when others do not #binthepoo . This is why there is still a lot of discrimination and judgment against dog owners in Ireland. We kindly remind everyone to #pickupafteryourdog wherever you call home on this planet. #bagthepoo #bagthepoop irishdachshunds dachshundphotography cutedogs irishdogs weeniedogs instadogs cutedachshunds instadachshunds dogsofeurope doxiesofinstagram dogslife doxie teckel dackel #dogsofdublin dachshundsofinstagram dogs_of_instagram dogsofinstagram dogstagram dogsofinsta dogsofinstaworld petsofinstagram

We finally made it across the River Liffey to celebrate at #dogfriendly @brewdogdublin for #paddysday in a taxi on wheels. We had a look at their dog specific menu and drinks. We highly recommend the dog chicken. It's grilled and sliced and diced for easy chewing. #brewdogdublin offers their own take of an Irish stout. We gave it go. It paired well with our dinner. We want to wish ALL of our followers and fur friends 🧡 a #happystpatricksday from Dublin, Ireland, our fair city and home. #stpatricksday irishdachshunds dachshundphotography cutedogs irishdogs weeniedogs instadogs cutedachshunds instadachshunds dogsofeurope doxiesofinstagram dogslife doxie teckel dackel dogsofdublin dachshundsofinstagram dogs_of_instagram dogsofinstagram dogstagram dogsofinsta dogsofinstaworld petsofinstagram

To kick off #stpatricksday☘️ in Dublin, we thought we'd head to a #concert of an up and coming singer, songwriter, and record producer #sombr . From our wee hearts to your sweet paws, Happy St. Patrick's Day! Dylan is on a new journey to try to shrink and get rid of his fatty tissues, lipoma is the medical term. We are trying the #turkeytailmushrooms #probiotics from Lumiqour Pets instead of surgery. Dylan has had two previous surgeries to remove two fatty tissues. At 15, we cannot put him through a surgery due to his age, although he is healthy and in good form according to the vet at his recent visit. We will let you know how we get on with this product. We are praying it works for him. #doghealthissues irishdachshunds dachshundphotography cutedogs irishdogs weeniedogs instadogs cutedachshunds instadachshunds dogsofeurope doxiesofinstagram dogslife doxie teckel dackel dogsofdublin dachshundsofinstagram dogs_of_instagram dogsofinstagram dogstagram dogsofinsta dogsofinstaworld petsofinstagram

We want to chill out in another #petfriendly pub and restaurant in Dublin. However, there are no water taxis to take us across the River Liffey to #brewdogdublin [red buildingin the background on the other side of the river]? Otherwise, it is a 22 minute hooman walk or 42 minute dog walk. We have one solution to this conundrum. Taxi! #sundayafternoon☀️ #watertaxi #petfriendlydublin irishdachshunds dachshundphotography cutedogs irishdogs weeniedogs instadogs cutedachshunds instadachshunds dogsofeurope doxiesofinstagram dogslife doxie teckel dackel dogsofdublin dachshundsofinstagram dogs_of_instagram dogsofinstagram dogstagram dogsofinsta dogsofinstaworld petsofinstagram

We had to come and investigate what all the fuss was about with this new €336,000 #bikeshed for the Irish government building. We just want to let the Taoiseach know this structure wouldn't even keep us dry during the rain so we could have poo. Someone in the civil service forgot this is paid for by the taxpayers' money and they should have had a budget to adhere to with this project. Cue the blonde woman from Ted Lasso in the scene from Game of Thrones. Thursday night #datenight for us with some local ladies on the Northside of Dublin just opposite the #hapennybridge in the city centre. We think things are going well based on what the two are talking about. Either that or they are just posing. #dublinatnight #couples irishdachshunds dachshundphotography cutedogs irishdogs weeniedogs instadogs cutedachshunds instadachshunds dogsofeurope doxiesofinstagram dogslife doxie teckel dackel dogsofdublin dachshundsofinstagram dogs_of_instagram dogsofinstagram dogstagram dogsofinsta dogsofinstaworld petsofinstagram
