Duck Diaries, episode 10: historic Route 66 in the Arizona desert 🦆🛣️ Red mesas, a two-lane road to the horizon and one tiny duck riding the hood. Fun fact: Route 66 had its official beginnings in 1926 and stretches 2,400 miles across two-thirds of the continent (National Park Service). That makes 2026 its 100th year. We hid ONE rubber duck for the kids at the lake… found in 4 seconds 😅🦆
Lake day game: an adult hides one duck somewhere on the rig, kids get one minute, and whoever finds it picks the snacks.
Where would YOU hide it so it lasts longer? Comment the spot 👇 and send this to your lake crew.

Did we win Halloween? 🎃🦆 Beach day, but make it costumes: a witch duck on the hood, pirates, astronauts and one very proud pumpkin. Who dressed the ducks? The kids. Obviously. Duck Diaries, episode 9: the Great Smoky Mountains in fall 🦆🍂
Layer after layer of blue ridges, morning fog in the valleys and one tiny duck on a burgundy hood.
Fun fact: the Cherokee called this land Shaconage, "place of the blue smoke." The haze comes from the forest itself: plants release natural compounds that scatter blue light.
