Field White, and the reason it exists.

A field watch has one job before any other: tell you the time in a half second, in whatever light you happen to be standing in. That is easiest to get right on a bright dial with dark numerals and nothing else competing for the space.

So that's what this is. Ceramic applied numerals, an inner 24 hour track, a single orange tip on the seconds hand so your eye lands where it should, and Swiss SuperLumiNova for when the light goes entirely.

39mm, grade 2 titanium, DLC coated, 100m, flat sapphire 2.7mm thick with five layers of anti-reflective coating underneath. Swiss Sellita SW200-1.

Designed, built and timed by me right here in Austin.

Bright dial or dark dial on a field watch, y'all?

White Linen, and nowhere to hide.

A clean dial is harder than a busy one. Every proportion is sitting out in the open where anybody can check my work.

What's actually there: a soft linen texture across the face, numerals milled into the chapter ring, and thermal treated blued steel hands. Not painted blue. Heated until they turn.

39mm, 10.4mm thin, 100m, flat sapphire with six layers of anti-reflective coating, Swiss Sellita SW200-1 regulated by hand to within four seconds a day.

The 2026 Whitney Collaboration is in the books. Thanks y’all so much for the continued support. We are grateful! by @dufrane_watches

Hammered copper on rose gold.

Two warm things that could easily fight each other. The copper dial has a few hundred raised surfaces on it, every one catching light in its own direction, so it never sits flat against the case. That's the only reason this pairing works.

The numerals are milled into the chapter ring, not printed on it. Hands are thermal treated blued steel, which is why they swing from near black to bright depending on how you turn your wrist.

39mm, 10.4mm thin, 100m, Swiss Sellita SW200-1 elaboré grade, 26 jewels, 38 hours, regulated by hand to within four seconds a day.

Get close enough and the dial stops being one color.

That's a linen texture across the whole face of the Slate Grey, woven fine enough that at arm's length it just reads grey. Three inches away it's doing something else entirely, and the orange seconds hand is the only thing on the watch that interrupts it.

39mm, 200m, Swiss Sellita SW200-1, regulated and timed on my bench here in Austin.

Saddle Brown, on the khaki nylon.

The dial goes from warm brown at the center out to near black at the edge, and the bezel insert picks up the same tone. It's the one in the lineup that doesn't read like a dive watch until you look twice.

It is one, though. 200m, 120 click uni-directional bezel, C3 lume on the dial, hands and the insert, sapphire with 5x anti-reflective coating applied underneath. 39mm wide, 12mm thick, 47mm lug to lug, Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic with 38 hours of reserve.

Ships on the five link bracelet with the seatbelt nylon in the box, which is what it's wearing here.

40 Acres.

Burnt orange, and if you live here you already know exactly what that color means. I did not pick it to be subtle.

Under the color it's the same dive watch as the rest of the Travis line. 39mm, 200m, Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic, 120 click uni-directional bezel with C3 lume in the insert, sapphire with the anti-reflective coating applied underneath.

This one ships on the five link bracelet with a hook and loop strap in the box instead of the nylon pass-through.

Live Oak.

A matte green with no shine to it at all, about the color of the canopy over the pool at noon. It goes nearly black in a dim room and then opens all the way up the moment you step outside.

Swipe and the lights go off. Swiss C3 X1 lume on every marker, both hands, and the pip in the bezel, because a dive watch that you can't read in the dark isn't finished.

42mm, 200m, Swiss ETA 2824-2 top grade, 38 hours of reserve, sapphire crystal in front and a sapphire case back. 3 link bracelet and an FKM tropical rubber strap, both in the box.

Pre-orders are open, shipping early December. Designed, built and timed by me right here in Austin.

Date or no date? That's the other call you get to make.

Margarita.

Barton Springs is back, and this is the loud one. Lime dial, Swiss C3 X1 lume on the markers and the hands, and a 120 click uni-directional bezel with a lumed pip so you can still find it when the light goes.

42mm, 316L steel, 200m of water resistance. Swiss ETA 2824-2 top grade inside, 25 jewels, 38 hours of reserve, sapphire front and back. It ships with the 3 link bracelet and an FKM tropical rubber strap, both in the box.

Pre-orders are open now and these go out in early December, in the order they come in. Designed, built and timed by me right here in Austin.

Margarita or Live Oak, y'all?

68 degrees, year round.

That's Barton Springs. Spring fed, three springs feeding one pool in the middle of Austin, and it holds 68 degrees whether it's February or the worst week of August. The Tonkawa were using that water long before any of this was a city.

The brief for a watch named after it has never changed. It has to actually swim. 200m of water resistance, a 120 click uni-directional bezel with a lumed pip, and C3 X1 lume on the markers and the hands.

The MkIV comes two ways. Margarita is lime and loud about it. Live Oak is matte green and says nothing. Both on the 3 link bracelet, both with an FKM tropical rubber strap in the box, both with or without a date.

Pre-orders are open, shipping early December. Designed, built and timed by me right here in Austin.

Swipe for both. Which one are y'all taking in the water?

Red leather, white dial.

The America 250 ships on the 5 link bracelet, and this red curved end strap is the other way to wear it. Both come in the box. The swap takes about ten seconds and you don't need a tool for it.

Cream dial, green numerals on the 24 hour ring, red GMT hand pointing at it. The color came out of the flag without me ever printing one on the dial.

39mm, Swiss Sellita SW330-2 GMT, top grade, 56 hours of reserve, 100m. Designed, built and timed by me right here in Austin.
