Washington! State #28 of 50

Found this cool park in Edmonds, WA from @1000hoops - Great account for outdoor basketball court reviews!

Fun dunks and great lobs!

Rim Height 9'11" by @dunk50by50

#27 on our own private Idaho court above Bear Lake. Close to home, just barely over the Utah Idaho border.

Also got inspired by @oldgregdunks to do the orange band dunks on a low rim at 9'8". Need to work on these more to get that band on a legit rim. 9'9" next!

Rim Height on first 2 dunks 9'10.5" ( Highest they would go, just high enough to count it) by @dunk50by50

4th year @thedunkcamp at age 45 now and 4th year as the oldest guy in the 10 ft dunk contest. Made both dunks! Its an honor to dunk with the best dunkers on Earth - Such a great week!

Thanks to @overthehilldunker making this possible and all the elder dunkers in group 8 for the positivity and great vibes.

Orange band next year. 1 more year to level up! Can't wait to do it again! by @dunk50by50

Last Dunk session before @thedunkcamp next week. Feeling healthy and ready thanks to @thpstrength

Dunk Camp invented Dunk levels like karate belt colors. I've been trying for this Orange band for like 3 years and can't seem to pull it all together. Also really need to dunk with 1 hand vs 2, which has been a struggle with my small hands. Need to make all these dunks on a full size rim. Feel like I'm getting close. Will I get the Orange Band next week? by @dunk50by50

Dunk Camp in 4 weeks! Some people train for Marathons, Iron Man, etc. I train for @thedunkcamp

Everyone wants to jump their best there, but to do that you have to put in the work.

Just got a @verttrainer and so cool to see where I'm at before camp. My vert is already 1 inch above last year, but still 2 inches below my PR vertical. Hopefully with some dunk camp magic I can get back to where I was 2 years ago. a little more skill practice and I'll be ready for that Orange Band this year!

Thanks to @thpstrength for getting my knees right. In such a better place this year compared to last year! by @dunk50by50

Quick "Dunk Trip" to Oregon this weekend, but the dunks were nothing compared to the Majestic Mt. Hood. Amazing weekend!

State #26
Rim Height: 9'11"

@jumpsbychi inspired me to do something different for jump day. Test my vertical! I Don't have a @verttrainer so using what I have on the farm. #howhighcanyougo

First time testing outside or on concrete. Also keeping volume low for my knee health.

Touched 10'5 for a standing vertical (27" vert) and just missed 10'8 (Would be a 30" vert), which is not bad considering the short approach.

I've touched 10'8 standing and 10'11" approach at @thedunkcamp 2 years ago. Hoping to get back to those numbers or better in June.

This setup worked OK, but lost a lot of time changing heights and measuring. I don't think I could do this in a gym. Looks like I need a vert trainer. by @dunk50by50

Georgia- State #25! Halfway checkpoint was a huge milestone. Great way to end Spring Break. My daughter Kit with the perfect lob! Even had a Trapper themed hype squad for the 3rd time. Haha

Thanks to my family and friends for supporting me! Thanks to the dunk community, including @thedunkcamp (and everyone I've met there) & @thpstrength coaches for helping me navigate Injuries and keeping me strong enough to keep this up. Hopefully I can keep leveling up in my late 40s.

Note on Rim Heights: Dunk community standard is 9'10.5"+ is a legit dunk, accounting for slight rim height differences gym to gym. So I've adopted 9'10.5" as my criteria of a legit dunk for this goal.

Warm-up dunks were 9'8.5" and the lob was 9'11.5" by @dunk50by50

Florida for Spring Break!

Just flew in on the red eye this morning. Almost no sleep and dealing with shoulder pain, bruised toes, and knee issues. But was able to squeak in a couple dunks for Florida on the way to the beach. I really needed these guys to get me over the top today!

#23 California! San Diego getaway weekend. Fun to have dunk side quests on our vacations.

Cool little Community Gym right by our Airbnb! I haven't been able to dunk in over a month. Had a bad knee flare up on Monday so was worried I wouldn't be able to do it this trip. Got a good warm-up and threw a couple dunks down, then went to the beach and saw some beautiful sights and Sea Lions. 80 degrees today!

Kansas #22 - Bonus State! 2 in 1 day

I've been saying that my body wouldn't be able to handle 2 states in one day again (Nevada/Arizona trashed my knees). But after Oklahoma went so smooth, we ended the session early and headed to Kansas looking for a gym. Got it done! Knees feel good next day.

My Big bro was my basketball (and dunk) mentor growing up. He had the best putback dunk in Bear River HS history back in 1996! Who else thinks he needs to come to dunk camp next year? If he can touch rim in jeans and running shoes, he's definitely capable of throwing one down after some training!

Thanks for the mini dunk road trip and knowing where the good tacos are.

Feeling OK in Oklahoma! State #21 with my Big Bro! Thanks @bbraeg! Got these dunks down early and decided to go somewhere else...
