I live for construction, but I love my life outside of it too. Swipe through to see my life both on & off the clock. Iā€™m Dustin Andrick, a handyman whoā€™s been serving all of Las Vegas for over 5 years now. Iā€™ve handled projects from so many different trades that I really do appreciate knowing a little of everything. I specialize in punch lists for getting homes turnover- and listing-ready. Off the clock, I really enjoy taking care of my health, whether thatā€™s cycling, Pilates, or running. Earlier this year, my friends and I ran the Rock & Roll Half Marathon together, and crossing that finish line side by side is a core memory for sure. That same drive carries over into my love for life as I enjoy exploring new places, stepping out of my comfort zone, and trying things Iā€™ve never done before. Have an upcoming project? Iā€™d love to hear from you. DM me anytime or call/text (702) 467-6115. by @dustinandrick
When it comes to investing into your property, what matters to you? That answer can be completely different whether youā€™re renting it out versus selling. Overhead racks can be a great way for anyone to move in with less clutter and itā€™s one less thing to think about with the stresses of moving. Everyone has their own preference, and it can be a fine line between doing too much versus not modernizing enough. Itā€™s always going to be different strokes for different folks, but tasteful touches can go a long way in either scenario. Imagine you go into your bathroom everyday just to see yourself with a giraffe neck! These glass closet doors are standardized and make it easy to retrofit into existing spaces. I feel everyone should have insulation on their garage doors. Such an inexpensive upgrade that saves you money in the long term! I replaced other key areas like the front door hardware, adding a stronger light fixture in the garage, and water supply angle stops & lines, but do what makes sense for you! There is a solution for everything and you donā€™t always need to break the bank to do it. by @dustinandrick
Words cannot describe last weekend, but Iā€™ll try my best.. I bought a ticket to @aboveandbeyondā€™s 700th edition of Group Therapy: A 4 day camping experience in the beautiful town of George, Washington, at The Gorge Amphitheater. Iā€™ve never been to a rave, let alone one where I travel to another state and camp out. Iā€™ve always enjoyed my alone time, and this one was a peak solo experience for me. Pulling up to the campsite was a trip.. One year ago I lived in my car out of necessity. This year I did it for fun. Surreal.. I flew into Seattle and bought everything I needed for the weekend and got on my merry way. I spent Thursday settling into camp and meeting everyone around me. Friday was the pre-party, full of deep sets from the legends themselves and many on the Anjuna label. My favorite from the night was @amywilesmusicā€™s set. She killed that shit. A little Saturday morning guided meditation followed by some chakra balancing/yin before we dance under the blue sky?? Donā€™t mind if I do. It might be hard to see, but this venue has a view. Shoutout to my guy Paul in the front. If you ever see this post send me a DM. Great time partying with you and your friends both nights šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ In the middle of @oliversmithā€™s banger of a set he announced for us to clear the bowl and wait on the hill while the wind and rain picked up like crazy! I was worried we wouldnā€™t get to see A&B that night.. many people left to go back to their campsite and didnā€™t return as they could just watch it on the live stream if it resumed. I honestly couldnā€™t blame them, Mother Nature was running its course. After 2 hours the amazing staff had everything setup for us to come back and enjoy A&Bā€™s set to close out the night! So thankful for everyone doing what they could to keep the show running. A&B closed out Saturday with a deep remix of Sun & Moon. Amazing to enjoy this song in the rain after such a roller coaster of an evening! It was a very surreal moment to be able to finally see my favorite trance group live. Iā€™ve been a fan since high school, but have never partied. What a helluva time to spend my first! You wouldnā€™t guess by this photo, but it was raining until 2pm on Sunday. Some by @dustinandrick

Hey yā€™all! Iā€™m Dustin Andrick, a fully insured, full-time handyman working around Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. After over five years of helping clients bring their ideas to life in all sorts of ways, Iā€™ve started taking on bigger projects like full room renovations (think painting, wallpaper, furniture assembly, and more). I was born and raised in San Francisco but moved to Henderson four years ago. Itā€™s a place Iā€™ve known since I was a kid, and now Iā€™m proud to call it home. Growing up as the son of a housecleaner, I worked alongside my mom from a young age, which taught me how important it is to respect and care for peopleā€™s homes. When Iā€™m not working, youā€™ll probably find me running or cycling. My proudest moment was riding solo 100 miles from the Strip to Laughlinā€”and Iā€™m now planning my next big ride. House Rules I Live By: ā€¢ Shoes off at the door ā€¢ A house isnā€™t a home without a dog ā€¢ Nobody can tell you what makes your space feel right for you ā€¢ Home improvement doesnā€™t have to break the bank You dream it, I create it. Letā€™s make your vision happen. Itā€™s hard to truly grasp how much of an impact your best friend had on you until theyā€™re no longer there. My baby Sally was called away from this Earth before I could show her that I wouldā€™ve done anything in this world for her in her golden years, but having shared 12 years with her is an absolute blessing. Iā€™d give anything to have one last road trip, take her on one last walk, or that I could just give her one last french fry in the car because she was such a good girl and knew not to beg, but that will never bring any more comfort than the fact that Sally knew she was loved tremendously. She was a brave girl all the way until the very end. Sally wasnā€™t supposed to be my dog initially. I came to adopt another dog Iā€™d seen the day prior, but mysteriously that dog wasnā€™t there, and in her place was Sally. Life didnā€™t need to be so kind to me as to bless me with the best dog as my first, but she flourished after coming from a less than ideal household and showed us how much of a blessing she was, not just to us, but to all of the babushkas in my apartment complex. Because she was able to roam around the courtyard we had in the building, she encouraged them to come out of their apartments and walk around, Sally often lying down near them while they were gossiping or accompanying them to get their steps in. Nothing really ever had to be taught to my smart girl, she just always found a way to figure it out. She helped me with my move to Vegas 3 years ago and was the project manager on my first solo backyard build among other momentous times in life. There was no better copilot than Sally for anything in life and I could always count on her to be there and I prided myself on being the same for her. Time always stopped for her, but when I wished for it to one last time, it didnā€™t. Sally was such a special dog that she took more of my heart than I ever even knew, but Iā€™d be a fool to complain about that. Any post or story wonā€™t do your legacy justice, Sally, but your Papa always loved you, and so did everyone you crossed paths with. Iā€™ll see you again someday down the road. ā¤ļø by @dustinandrick
