Geneseo ’30 I am incredibly blessed to announce my commitment to further my academic and soccer career in the Empire 8 at SUNY Geneseo, home of the reigning conference champions. This opportunity means the world to me, and I’m proud to officially join the Knights and represent Geneseo at the next level. A year ago, after suffering an injury, I didn’t even believe I would be playing college soccer. Through that season of doubt and uncertainty, God continued to guide me and remind me that His plans are bigger than any setback. The Lord truly brings blessings in the most unexpected moments. I want to thank all of my coaches and teammates who have shaped me into the player and person I am today, both on and off the field. A special thank you to Coach Karatuna and Coach Hernandez for believing in me and pushing me to keep chasing college soccer, especially during moments when I doubted myself and didn’t think it was possible. I am also incredibly grateful to Coach Kelsh and the entire SUSA staff for their constant patience, encouragement, and support throughout this entire journey. My greatest thank you goes to my parents. Your unconditional love, endless sacrifices, and constant belief in me carried me through every high and low of this journey. I am beyond grateful for everything you’ve done. Lastly, I want to sincerely thank Coach Howlett and the entire Geneseo coaching staff for believing in me and trusting me with this opportunity. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to represent Geneseo, and I’m excited and ready to embrace this new chapter. Go Knights! ⚔️ by @dwight.valladares
