Game 1 of the Motown @200x85 CCM Tournament vs the Roughriders…Let’s Go Devils 🔱 by @dyha_13_elite

Today we want to spotlight the driving force behind our team, our Head Coach Zach Bayer.

Coach Zach is an Arizona hockey player and coach who has spent much of his career developing the game in the Valley. His playing career includes junior hockey across North America and collegiate hockey at SUNY Morrisville and Arizona State University. Zach was a defenseman for Arizona State University, playing for the Sun Devils during the 2015-16 season.

He has since built an extensive coaching career in Arizona. He has served as a head coach at multiple youth levels. Competing at multiple levels of the game helped shape his hockey IQ, compete level, and understanding of what it takes to succeed. He brings that experience, intensity, and passion for the game to the ice, helping develop and grow the next generation of hockey players.

Coach Zach has a reputation for intensity on the bench and ice. Which at first glance can seem intimidating, but when you pay attention you realize how passionate he is about the game and the development of his players. Our team is so very grateful for you Coach, and what you bring to the rink every practice and game.
