What a great way to spend my 24th B DAY! Hiking, Soccer and later the Resident Evil movie.

This year was definitely crazy and I love the friends and family in my life for being there for me #austinfc #atx by @dylan_in_austin

Howdy y'all! It's been a minute, so let me catch everyone up. I've just passed my three-month mark transferring here to KVUE, the ABC affiliate here in Austin.

KVUE was my first pick when finding a media opportunity moving to ATX two years ago, and with the experience I've gained from CBS, I'm more than excited to explore these great new stories.

I've already gotten to do so much! I now make mobile shorts, I'm getting involved with investigative pieces, and I get to do more community stories, like one about sheltered animal transport. That one in particular garnered a thoughtful letter thanking me for my efforts.

This is why I love my work.
I'd love to see you guys around town, so please reach out if you have a story to tell.

Getting ready for the new year! Be sure to watch CBS Austin's 11:30 stream tonight to see some amazing fireworks and crazy drones. I'll be y'all's host tonight with camera in hand!

This year has been a great one, and I couldn't have asked for more. I'm excited to see what 2026 has in store for me.

IM 23 !!! and god what a trip I took to get there. In the past 4 days I hit 4 countries. New York USA, flew to London England, trained Wrexham Wales, and ferried to Dublin Ireland. I never thought I’d be able to experiment like this, and I’ll be honest I was nervous the whole trip. I’m thankful for god giving me grace and I’m thankful for my family giving me strength.
I’ll definitely try to travel more, but god am I proud with what I’ve accomplished. by @dylan_in_austin

EditFest was AMAZING this past weekend! I had the chance to meet so many people working in the career I have always wanted to be in. Editors from all walks and avenues showing their appreciation for the craft while building relationships for new opportunities. I can’t wait for my next adventure in LA!

An incredible protest to report on today at the state capitol with representatives from Save Texas Schools, Anti-Trump, For Ukraine, and LGBTQ. Despite differing political ideals, it is phenomenal to see so many people standing for state rights in Austin. #atx #news #photographer #texas by @dylan_in_austin

Some great pics of me covering SXSW 2025! It’s been an amazing week so far! #sxsw #photography #news by @dylan_in_austin

1,000 people met for a rally against school choice this past Saturday. The rally walked from the First United Methodist Church to the capital steps with signs saying to fund public schools help students. Many parents and teachers protesting the bill which would give taxpayer dollars to private education disagree with the the idea. They say many students applying for the voucher can’t make up the cost difference to efficiently send their child to private school. As the legislative session continues, the bill, SB 2, raises more questions as to how the state will fund education. I captured these photos to show the work I’ve been doing at CBS, and I’m anxious to see what other stories I’ll cover here in Austin. You can view the story here and see the story I recorded and edited with my friend and reporter, @vinny_martorano https://youtu.be/E7jTXLzUXDI?si=cGnqXaq1Df7IzJ_u by @dylan_in_austin
