It’s OFFICIAL… 🙏🏻🏀 Blessed to announce the start of my own personal business/brand.. ‘Dylan Murray Training LLC’ .. Looking back on my beginnings and my relationship to basketball.. it has been a journey…From the countless hours of my own personal growth as a player to the fulfillment of being a coach/mentor to the ones after me.. just so thankful for the people it’s brought into my life and the experiences I’ve had up to this point and the ones to come.. It’s just the beginning 🕐 From being that kid with no offers in a small town.. I’ve been there and have experienced what it takes to separate yourself.. the mission of my brand is to continue to spread the word of my prior mentors and show my clients there’s always a way forward.. the journey continues, let’s work.. - DMT 🎯 (Events coming soon) 👀 #Connecticut #SkillDevelopment #BasketballTrainer #Basketball by @dylanmurray___
VERIZON EMPLOYEE ➡️ WNBA ➡️ FULL-TIME BASKETBALL TRAINER ——— 2017 - HIGHSCHOOL Graduated Williston HS in Williston, FL … had ZERO offers until my senior year. Went to a showcase camp in Tampa, FL .. had a great showing and secured a ton of Division III / NAIA interest. Decided to play at Lasell University, a DIII school in Newton, MA. 2017-2021 - COLLEGE Played 2.5 seasons at Lasell, averaged 12ppg / multiple 30pt point games. Tied the record for made 3pt in a single game. Decided to remove myself from the team due to personal reasons & COVID. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. Planned on attending Physical Therapy School after graduating. 2021 - VERIZON EMPLOYEE After graduating during the COVID-19 pandemic .. my plans on attending physical therapy school was delayed due to school / clinic closures around the state. I decided to get a job at a local Verizon for a couple months until the restrictions were lifted. Completely removed from the game of basketball at that point … Next thing I know @coachcurtmiller walks in the store to buy a phone. After chatting with him about my story.. he ended up offering me the opportunity to become a male practice player for the Connecticut Sun, WNBA team. That connection changed my life forever and redirected me back to the game I loved. 2021-2023 - WNBA PRACTICE PLAYER / PT AID As the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, I ended up leaving Verizon and began working as a Physical Therapy Aid in Avon, CT. While also working part time with the CT SUN as a male practice player during the season. Just learning and making connections at this point as I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. Met some incredible people in the process. 2023 - BASKETBALL TRAINER / PT AID / WNBA At this point, I was BUSY. Working 3 different jobs in completely different areas of Connecticut. Not sure what my path was gonna be and completely put my faith in God to guide me. 2023 WNBA SZN - WNBA COACHING INTERN / TRAINER For the 2023 season, I was offered the opportunity to become a coaching intern / player development assistant for the Sun. Learned a ton about the game and developing players. Continued ⬇️ by @dylanmurray___

Inside @tymitchell25 handle warmup 🏀 Building stronger dribbles, sharper footwork, and an active off hand with an emphasis on controlling the ball through changes of pace and direction. Swipe through for each drill and the purpose behind it ➡️ Pocket Pulls - Pulling the ball back into your pocket helps protect it from reaching defenders and gives you time to read the floor. From that position, you can change pace, attack again, or transition into a shot or pass. Work on controlling the ball through the pull Off-Hand Engagement - (Decoupling) Decoupling means being able to perform different actions with each hand without one disrupting the other. In a game, you need to control your dribble while using your off hand to help protect the ball and manage contact. Touching a second ball during this warmup challenges that separation. Keeping the off hand engaged while maintaining your dribble through movement. Heavy Ball / Shifting Footwork Shifting your feet with the ball helps you sell a direction, move the defender, and get into position to attack. Load into the shift, stay balanced, then push out of the change of direction. Floats / Off-Hand Swipe The float dribble gives you time to read the defender and change pace before your next attack. Pairing it with an off-hand swipe helps you clear a reaching hand while keeping control of the ball. by @dylanmurray___
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL - Aubrey Griffin 🎯 ——— Getting the opportunity to work with @aubrey.griffin44 over these past few months has been special. She brought the same energy every day. Ready to work, ready to learn, and never looking for the easy way through anything. Her talent and athletic ability is obvious, but getting to see the work ethic behind it gave me an even greater appreciation for who she is as a player more importantly who she is as a person. More than anything, I’m grateful for the trust. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey, Aub. Proud of everything we were able to build over these past 3 months. Wishing you nothing but success as you take your game overseas. Go show them what all this work was for. 🔥🎯 #DMTFAM by @dylanmurray___
DMT SUMMER 2026 … 🎯➡️ ——— Just want to take a second to say how thankful I am for everyone who’s been a part of the #DMTFAM. ❤️🏀 Whether you’ve trained with me once, been here for years, traveled to work with me, trusted me with your child, or simply supported what I’m building. I appreciate you more than you know. Every session, every conversation, every referral, every post shared… it all means something to me. What started as me just loving basketball and wanting to help players has turned into something bigger than I ever expected. The DMTFAM keeps growing, but the love for the game and the people I get to work with will always be the reason behind it. Forever grateful. ❤️ (and a little tired) by @dylanmurray___

Croatia 🇭🇷 to Connecticut 🇺🇸 @yalewbasketball FRESHMAN SZN PREP ——— Had a great week in the gym with @leavukic23 as she prepared for her freshman season at Yale. Lea is an extremely hard worker who showed up every day ready to learn, compete, and get better. Beyond the basketball, she’s an even better person to be around. Great energy, great personality, and someone who makes the gym a better place just by being in it. A lot of work packed into one week. Excited to follow her journey and see everything she accomplishes at the next level. Shoutout to everyone who helped out this week. Wouldn’t be possible without you guys. The DMT family gained another member! Good luck this season, Lea. Go be great! 🐶🎯 by @dylanmurray___
Preparing Ty Mitchell for his @next22chapter 1v1 debut. 🎯 ——— Over three days, we focused on the details of a 1v1 setting. Creating advantages, getting to spots, playing through contact, fatigued scoring/defending… Wishing my guy nothing but the best. Go compete, trust the preparation, and enjoy the moment. ❤️ Big thank you to everyone who came through over the three days to help us get quality work in. Whether you defended, rebounded, passed, or just helped make the environment competitive it all played a part and is greatly appreciated. ——— NEXT CHAPTER LOADING … ⏳ by @dylanmurray___
