POSTS STORIES REELS

14 days of obsessing over our precious Dalia Elyse Braun 🌸

It’s surreal to finally have the baby in your arms that you carried for 41 weeks. I always knew I wanted to be a mom but wasn’t prepared for the love I feel when she falls asleep on my chest, her deep gazes of curiosity or outings to our favorite places (queue Echters Nursery) 🌱

And since labor, I’ve somehow unlocked an even better version of my husband. Not only did he help get me through 10 hours of labor and an unplanned c- section, but he’s helped me navigate feedings, dozens of pump parts, taught me the differences between baby’s cues and prioritized my recovery 💋

Finally, beyond grateful to have my mom here supporting us. Seeing her bond with her first grandchild is so special and I hope to be half as great of a mom as she has been to me 💗 by @dyldsdeaux

So grateful to celebrate our Sweet Valentine on the way with our amazing family & friends ❣️

Even more thankful for my mom, Aunt, MIL & besties for making this vision come to life and getting to celebrate alongside my Lita 💞

6 Months Married 💒

Dylan, not a second goes by that I’m not thankful for you. I know life will have its ups and downs, but with you, I know I can get through it. We will continue to build a life together that we love and excited for each chapter that we get to learn more about each other & ourselves.

Happy Movember, LINKS IN MY BIO. Thank you for helping me raise $11,119 since 2019!! It’s not about the money raised for me it’s about the awareness created. I’m always humbled by the outreach I get annually from my friends here who might be having a hard time and need someone to talk to.

If you’re reading this and you’re struggling, send me a message, or if I’m not the friend you want to reach out to please reach out to someone.

2024 updates:
The tough.
This has been one of the toughest and busiest years of my life. I had a tough fall mentally and it tested my new marriage. All year was stressful, I had trouble sleeping and physical pain from stress. Wedding planning, that’s a test on a relationship. First year as president of the club I attribute so much happiness to, not as tough as I thought, but more work than I thought it would be. Good thing I love doing it. But good news, I still have a full head of hair.

The good.
Texas is back! Celebrated friend’s bucks and weddings. Expanded the garden and grew flowers for the wedding. Started another side biz with Nik. June 28th I married my best friend! Can’t express the feeling of having as many people as we could afford in one place. Won 2 World National Championships, one w the Gaels and one w the Doggies! Finally went to Europe and Australia. Thanks to all of my amazing friends in Aus who made our trip so amazing, it meant so much to us to be with yall and see two of our best friends in the world get married! Finally saw Dom Dolla too!

Now I am Dylan, Dylds, dyldeaux or barrel - a Mexican Jewish cowboy who grew up in the country around hoodrats, found AFL and gets frequently mistaken for pretending to be Australian who then married a Mexican Canadian Vietnamese princess so I’m officially Vietnamese according to my laws. Deal with it. And we’ll post the photos eventually 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣.

Look. I’ve got no problem putting myself out here and being vulnerable for the public to see if it means one person feels like they can open up about their own struggles.

If you do one thing today, please share this with your friends and check on your mates. Happy Movember, spread awareness and check on your friends 🥰🥰. by @dyldsdeaux

The holidays were indeed happy thanks for askin 🥰.

Easiest decision I’ve made in my life askin you to marry me Nik. Thanks for saying yes 🙌🏻.

Caption was too long so check the comments.

Preface: I’m ok, I appreciate the outpour of affection from my friends when I post my truth every year. I’m starting a conversation publicly and being vulnerable to remind y’all that it’s ok.

And F the person who thot it was ok to shoot up the bar in Colorado Springs and take lives bc of your own insecurities and hate.

Ok

4 years I’ve been doing this to provide awareness around mens health and mental health. It’s been incredible to see the community around me support me and spread awareness.

No better time to remind everyone that the stigma around mens health and mental health needs to change. But you gotta do it all the time a not just this month. Talk to your mates, open up if you’re in a tough spot, talk to me ffs.

Be honest yourself, you owe yourself that much. Spread awareness. Do the hard stuff, swallow that frog first thing every morning (google it).

Miss you Dax, I’ll always be here for your family although I selfishly left y’all years ago for the mountains.

Thanksgiving this week - if you’re feeling down bc you’re away from your family or maybe you have something to tell them. I’m here if any of you need to open up in confidence.

Thanks for being here for me. Thank you Nikki for always being by my side. And. Especially everyone in these photos although I can’t figure out how to crop everyone in. Sorry.

Anyway - links in the bio and on my story daily. You know what to do!!
