So this was one of those days where I actually did cold water inside because the lake warmed up🤦‍♀️ (too warm)

But I also enjoy the sunrise so much that I’m willing to take the extra time to do a dip when the water is above 10° as long as I know, I can get a cold one inside!!

and wearing my Garmin, not running and for Pilates and for gym routines, but more importantly so I can measure water temperature😁😁😁

This is why I do it everyday

Smile everyday. Call it my own smile project.
Things are good, but I believe we chose things everyday that make our day and that of the people around us better.

We may have great days, but we may also have challenging ones, and some of the hardest are the days that you’re fine but someone you care about is just struggling.

So every single day, I find something that makes me smile or laugh, and they share it in the hopes that it will make others smile too.

This was a pretty tired version of me; this is shortly after crawling out of bed and I say crawling because I’d had 2.5 hours of sleep after 17 hours of work (my job) and a few hours of moving furniture and cleaning cupboards after some tenants moved out.

I am not complaining, juts happy there are little things that can get me to the point of smile so quickly.

@towaterfront42k was another amazing race, runners of all calibers and experience chasing goals and experiences. 💕

I did not get the bib I had hoped so, so instead i hit the route during the early morning set up to see some of the volunteers and fans! I may have been a bit early for the fans, but saw a few out there close to an hour before race start! ❤️❤️❤️

Fluids, gels, music, cheering .. and let’s not forget the timing @sportstatsworld , all to help inspire and motivate our runners. This video is about the sunrise and the support!

After running about 23 km of the route I chose a location where I could see runners heading east on Lakeshore and then coming back west on Lakeshore.. I was in an area that many referred to as a pain cave.

I grabbed my apple sauces, @krononutrition , electrolytes and shared them for those who needed it! Even had some yummy salt gummies

Congrats to all those who came, tried, tested themselves. Recognition to those who showed up and put it all out there.

Some days the cold water is needed even more than others
Gorgeous sunrise … lake water and the calm of some soft waves

After a number of races / running events, hours prepping my condo for rent, on top of the usual career stuff, 2027 planning … I embraced today for sure
